Rebuilding your front end and you don't have a torsion bar removal tool? You don't need it. This is a quick tip on how I remove Torsion Bars on C body Mopars. It should cover A-B-C-E body Mopars (Not FMJ bodies with transverse bars)
This is a Stubframe from a 1970 Plymouth Fury we parted out.

Wow I'm so glad I watched this I spent over 2 hours fighting with my torsion bars on my 68 valaint. They have never been off and the car is up here in Canada 🇨🇦 in the heart of the rust belt. I thought for sure I was going to have to cut them off .I tried everything,shock out upper control arm removed adjuster backed off completely. Watched your video it literally fell apart doing what you suggested This car is super crusty I was amazed. Thank you so much cheers Now it's off to change the frame rail ugh

Thanks for posting. So where were you the only time I did this job 20 years ago and made my own special tool with foil and big honking vice grip? I worked after a lot of sweat and tears but no nicks. This video is a better method and will save somebody a lot of aggravation.

I was 10 years old. Building high detail 1/25th scale mopars, sniffing glue, and spray can fumes. 🤪🤪🤪

I agree 100% The quality wasn't very good on this one. I'm still messing around a bit with the go pro and how to best position it while doing stuff. I will be doing another front end soon and will revisit this.
