Where do u fishing the kill switch, I'm almost positive that's what's wrong which mine. Everyone my son hits the switch it won't start after, then I leave it sit for 2 days in the on position and it stays again.
Your belt or clutch is probably broken. A bad clutch can cause a belt to shred. Therefore take off the bottom case on the left of the scooter check ypur belt to see if its broken. To take off the clutch you will need more sophisticated tools. To check clutch hold in the middle piece if you see a black ring popped out the clutch is bad. Replace parts needed. Hope this helped.
Moped,....MO - PED,....French word for motor and pedals, you have no pedals dude. It's a SCOOTER! Your diagnosis, could be right, but mostly with these & other petrol scooters, OR Mopeds. if left to sit for even just two weeks, the petrol starts to "go off", as in solidify. That's the most common problem with sitting scooters, the fuel lines & carby bowl goo up when the fuel turns to a jelly like state. Hope that helps.
