Moral Story For Kids in English | The Lion And The Bull | Animal & Jungle Story
One day, Gugu was wandering through the forest and admiring the beauty of nature when he meets the bull. gugu was so impressed by the nature surrounding it that it expressed how blessed the bull was to be in such an environment unlike where Gugu came from.
The bull nodded its head in agreement but also went on to say that there are other challenges which are more dangerous than the beauty of the forest.
However; Gugu would not believe it and told the bull that it might be saying so only to discourage Gugu from continuing to live there.
The bull begged to differ and told Gugu that it would share an incident that happened a week ago to prove its point.
The Bull went on to say how one afternoon, a lion wandering around the forest had seen the bull and had developed a great urge to feast a bull.
But considering the great size of the bull, it hesitated and instead thought of a cunning idea.
It approaches the bull and says that it has slain a fine sheep and it would be delighted if the bull came to the lion's home to partake in the feast.
In its head, the lion imagined how it would pounce on the bull once it comes over to his place, attacking him and then feasting on the bull.
The bull; knowing nothing of the lion's wicked thoughts, in all its innocence agreed.
The next day, the bull was on its way to going to the lion's den.
When it was close to approaching the lion's den, it saw huge pits and giant cauldrons around it but nowhere sensed any sign of a sheep whatsoever! Thus the bull quietly departed without saying a word to its host.
That evening, the lion went to where the bull was and enquired why the bull had gone off so abruptly without even a word of salutation to its host.
It went on to ask if the lion had given the bull any cause for offense.
The bull sternly said that it had enough reasons as it had not seen any indication whatsoever of a sheep having been slaughtered by the lion.
It told the lion that what it saw was indeed very plainly every preparation for the lion dining on a bull.
On hearing this story, Gugu understood that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
