Let's not gloss over the fact that, for a brief moment, Morathi as a goddess and Karl Franz as the Celestine Prime were in the same room behind a closed door. I'm surprised Age of Sigmar didn't spontaneously ignite from that amount of concentrated hotness in one place.

Morathi may have failed at many things she attempted, but consider the fact that your average character in Warhammer Fantasy gets torn apart by demons after one fuck up, and Morathi has consistantly been able to fuck upwards.

Fun rules interaction. The Skaven Artefact "The Brass Orb" can remove the Shadow Queen from the table. All rules about wounds require the Shadow Queen to be on the board. So if you manage to get her with the orb you can snipe down small Morathi.

I consider Morathi doing a 180 on her attitude towards Slaanesh's ability to get out and also her being cavalier about pissing off the other gods as a lore _positive._ It's not a plot hole, it's Morathi falling prey to her hubris. She thinks finally achieving apotheosis makes her immune to the consequences of her actions. That if she just obtains godhood, it means she's "won". She doesn't understand that godhood isn't the blank check she thought it was. Not in AoS, where even gods can die. Her arrogance - her Grandiosity - is getting the better of her. That's not bad writing, that's GOOD writing. It means she's a flawed character. It's this kind of thing that capital-t Tragedies are built on.

The thing that lets you insta "kill" small Morathi in AoS is the gaunt summoner. As his ability doesnt kill, just removes her from the table.

There's a scene in Warhammer where Grombrindal (who before the End Times is all but stated to be Malekith's old friend Snorri Sturluson who's so pissed off over an oath which Malekith had broken that he came back from the dead through sheer rage) is asked who's the most beautiful woman in the world between Alarielle and Morathi. He predictably tells the moron who asked him that question that they're both no good on the grounds that they both lack defined muscles and are consequently useless in a shield wall (the part about them being elves is something he declares to be so obvious that it didn't need to be brought up, and this is without getting into how Morathi is the 2nd most evil non-Chaos character from all of Warhammer Fantasy with her son being #3 and Nagash being #1) before declaring that Helga Longplaits is his pick on the grounds that she's completely dependable outside of her looks. And if you think that he's done insulting a few of the typical contenders for the most beautiful woman in Warhammer, he immediately adds that Lucrezia Belladonna's no good either simply because she's that much of a notorious poisoner.

Morathi-Khaine having wound characteristic is to make some abilities which require that characteristic to work. Such as banishing a characters which has wound under 12, for instance. (Yes, she can't be kill faster than turn 4th but she can be banished for a round.)
