Morbid Metal Detecting Find at a Burnaby Park

Found a rather morbid artifact metal detecting by the Fraser River at a Burnaby Park last weekend. It's a bit far away from where I usually go, but I'll be sure to return it the next time I go back.
I'm testing out a brand new GoPro setup, sorry for the muffled audio, I wanted to see how the stock GoPro Hero 12 onboard microphones would work on their own.

The soil in my moms front yard is like that, really sandy, its about a 50/50 chance any plug I dig in her front yard either holds up or just crumbles Into dust, even with my good predetor Pheonix shovel, but she dosnt have much out there, best things I found was the revolving peice to a cap gun, and a copper penny, and so many damn aluminum fence ties, my step dad was built fences for a living, he's retired now but has tons of aluminum fence ties left and he uses them for damn near everything

Much of the soil along the Fraser River is like that. Just a thin layer of grass over silt.

What did you do with the cremation tag? I found one on the river but was able to read it so I dropped it back in the hole and left it there.

I didn't read it closely until I got home and cleaned it, assumed it was just a dog tag as it was right next to an off-leash dog park area. The next time I'm headed in that direction I plan to put it back.

How much did the go pro cost? I want to do some live streaming next year, but I also dont want to spend too much money, I'm not really trying to build a channel just do the odd live stream for fun Do you have any suggestions for a cheap camera, I think I want a ball cap mount because I wear overalls and keep my phone and other stuff in my bib pocket onmy chest

The whole bundle of remote, mediamod, camera + batteries was $678, the camera bundle alone with the camera and enduro battery on the Black Friday deal was around $470. I have it on a clip mount that I clip to my backpack strap. I don't have a ton of experience with cameras, my last model before this was the Hero 4 that I'd been using for all my other videos, got it on craigslist last year haha. I'd recommend getting an older model to experiment first, maybe the Hero 9 or 10. There might be quite a few popping up on the resale market after the Christmas season.

I'm not sure, it's from regular funeral home nearby so probably human.

Nope, I posted it on the Vancouver and Burnaby subreddits and didn't get any leads, no names or anything in the photos that I could use to locate them, so probably unlikely now.

@@celinavincent Haha just some random middle aged people's travel and family gathering photos from the mid 00s, nothing recent so it was weird to find that card freshly dropped.
