Listening to this in 2024 as I’m chilling at home a couple of days before going to see Morcheeba play live. Been listening to them since the 90s and this is possibly my all-time favourite song of theirs ❤

I'VE SEARCHED FOR THIS SONG FOREVER. I must've seen it on TV when I was younger, years later all I could remember was the music video. My search history was full of "animals pears graveyard music video","animals ghosts surfing music video", etc. I gave up a long time ago and now this pops up in my recommended. I'm shook.. 😭❤

This is my favorite song. I listen to so many different types of music: Pop, Rock, Psychedelic Trance, Goa, Smooth Jazz, Easy Listening, Hip-Hop, Hyphy, Punk, Country...just all kinds of good music out there. Out of all the songs, artists, themes, moods... This is my favorite song.

This is the definition of inspiration. This song helps me keep going, despite all the sh*t happening everyday.

I've been listening to this song on and off for over 2 years and to me it's profound and speaks directly to my soul.

10 years ago my mom played this for me in the car and I quickly grew bored of it. I came back recently as a high lord of extreme metal fanboyism and this song, of all things, suddenly hit like an 18-wheeler. Truly timeless and with an important message to us all.

I think the song speaks of solitude, loneliness, facing your fears and skelletons in your closet and most of all opening your mind and forget the past because it's nothing but chasing shadows, we should instead just enjoy the ride. There is bunch of little lyrical tells in the song about instability because of constant soul-searching and trying to find answers about life --- the bigger picture and what it's all about.. Great lyrics and a great video.

Was arsing about with my computer instead of marking student's work and came across Jazz FM. They played " The Sea". I liked. I then dug a little deeper and found this !Boy !This resonates with me at the moment. In 6 weeks I retire from work. I've been a teacher for 30 years. I've loved my job with a will but its ground me down and there's a lot of life I've missed due to my commitment to work.. I need to reconnect to my family and be me. At the moment for this September planning a 10,000km motorcycle trip is freaking me out, I am so scared. Gotta remind myself that fear is just part of the adventure. Year 2024.

This song helped me go through one of the saddest months of my life. Even though I've heard it all my life, I've never really listened to it until one day, where every world sounded like a message that I needed to receive, a simple truth said with simple worlds that did more than any philosophical books I was reading at the time to try to cope with my reality. I was listening to it all day for months, I needed this truth, this simple truth that we all need someday in our lives, and that makes us want to live another one. Thank you Morcheeba.

Morcheba is brilliant because the lyrics take on a whole new meaning once you think outside yourself, everyone is capable all you have to do is free yourself from the self imposed false reality of fear.Then all you have left is the present moment and love.

2022 Aug on a breezy evening by the beach, man of my life makes me listen to this song. In the dim moonlight I remember him gazing at me with love.

I first heard this song on the aeroplane coming home from a year away working and travelling. The beautiful lyrics and melody were spell-binding, alleviating my feelings of loss and fears about starting again. Whenever I listen to it i'm immediately comforted and happy again :)
