Same here! Smallville is the greatest tv series of all time IMO. And the beautiful music strategically placed in certain emotional scenes, is one of the reasons why.
@@cyber6sapien I think a lot of us fell the same bc that time was the last period of time where pop/rock as producing songs. Nowadays there is no more pop/rock like the 2000s, it is like a tv show from the 80s that has all the good stuff of rock from 80s but know I think no one is still recording that type of music. On smallvile, there were Avril Lavigne, Gorillaz, My Chemical Romance, and lot of other bands I can not remember all their names.
Just blasting through 'Smallville' (S7 E3) and... I heard the tune, but couldn't hear the words clearly (Lex Luthor was speaking)... So, Google Sound Searched it... And came to this B-E-A-UTY of a track! How have I not heard this track before? I have others from Morcheeba, but this escaped me somehow!? Slow, relaxing, and haunting words.. It's a bit of a pleasing ear worm this... Love it! 👍 😎🇬🇧

I just had a sad dream and in the end I was walking alone. It was raining and I had no umbrella. No one helped me and people on the street were making fun of me. I kept walking as I was getting wet…this song was playing on the background the whole time and I thought to myself “at least I have this song to keep me company”.

when i first heard it on the radio i loved it. shame i found out who the actual performer is a couple of months later. if only the radio station had been helpful enough to say whose songs they play, i would have found morcheeba and enjoyed their songs earlier!
This song encompasses perfectly the character of Londo Mollari from one of the greatest Sci-Fi shows ever: Babylon 5. For those who haven't seen it I highly recommend it. Londo Mollari is probably one of the most tragic characters ever written for a TV series.
Cool song. I also like how George Harrison used the same line in "Within You, Without You". That's a pretty profound song imo. And maybe everybody else already knows this but I just learned this phrase originally comes from the Bible.
@vedranv Oh man, i feel the same vibe when it comes to this. The depth in their words , the videos that depict that in such a simple manner, its all spontaneity. I am happy to discover too and will not shadows , but just enjoy the ride
I wish people recognized the 1080p button when uploading videos, using flac lossless sources for audio. But this still doesn't seem to happen very often. :(
