Amazing for practicing distancing and accuracy
Alt grip comboes super fast and its unexpected slashes hurt about as much as a longsword
Different and really fun playstyle
Drawbacks:
Low TTK for its cost (doesn't 2shot level 3 helmet or 1shot level 1)
People might think you're a horse player (gross)
Bad stamina game
Different playstyle can be hard to adapt to

Thank you :) Polehammer is fun! What separates it from other weapons is its ability to oneshot tier 2 helmet in alt mode. Good suggestion, I'll see what I can do

Those are some interesting wings on that spear, I’ve never seen one like that. They look like they would be good for catching and trapping other weapons with a rotation of the staff.

Overhead: Mouse scroll up Horizontal swing: Leftclick Underhand: Mouse scroll down Stab: Mouse thumb button Block: Rightclick Hold alt to change direction of attack/block Might make a little tutorial series or something soon :)

bruh if youre gonna choke up on the spear why not just use the halberd? same reach, can combo, more damage, and you can get respectable swing damage and morph too

Good question but the spear is just slightly better. They have the same hits to kill but the alt moded spear has way faster windup, less turncap and lower miss cost. Spear is superior stabber >:-)

awful matchmaking balance this game have, also lack of players are the cause of this, and most good players are in duels so if u go pub and ur like 200 lvl then its a stomping ground.

@@Jisse_Gaming Jisse, can you tell me your build for spear? I'm testing now 0-1-0 Bloodlust, 1-2-1 Rush for Invasions. 2-3-2 Stun & 3-3-2 without perks for Ranked and I'm wondering what builds you are using.. ;-) Thank you! :-)

@@primarqo I only have one build and it's at the start of the video man. I would not recommend using spear for ranked unless you know exactly what you're doing and are using it to counter some other cheese

Welcome to the game! Duel servers are your best friend if you are new, pick up mechanics and practice timings there until you can beat most people 1v1. From there you can go into invasion matches and practice having a split focus. At the end of the day it all comes down to practice. Remember, the game has been released for almost 2 years now so don't be discouraged if veterans beat you up :)

It's always less players just before the next patchie. The playerbase has been mostly steady for the last year according to steam charts. MORDHAU will be playable for a long time
