@@maniacguy7899 well duh, most if not all servants that come from the age of gods weather in the early ages or near the end of it are all stupid strong 1 way or another. Althou Mordred there outright admits she's no match for Gawain. The man in question confirms this himself in his interlude.

Sigurd also defeated Fafnir and he also the parallel character to Siegfred minus the weakness in the back, Sigurd only weakness is his wife Brynhildr.

@@grandethar1121 the fun fact to these 2 parallel heroes is that Siegfried defeated a black Fafnir that granted him the invincible armor of his legend while Sigurd defeated a white Fafnir that gave him knowledge and wisdom equal to the gods ( it comes in a appearance of a glasses that the servant Sigurd wears). As a side note they both have damn beautiful wives, Siegfried has the stundere kriemhild and Sigurd has brynhild the yandere Valkyrie, both are equally crazy don't be fooled but nonetheless love their husband's very much (despite what other degenerates tell you otherwise) I'm both happy for them but also equaly jealous like maaaaaaaaaaan.

​@pejman3 It goes deeper than that. Frankenstein's Monster is a blend of a homunculus and a reanimated corpse, with artificial components thrown into the mix. Mordred, however, is a homunculus himself, even though he was technically conceived the usual way, thanks to a certain incubus and Morgan deciding to take advantage of Artoria, though he was created using the life essence of actual beings. In Fate, a Homunculus is usually a copy of an original, the Einzeberns being a copy of Justeaze, with the exception of Ilya. They are both essentially artificial lifeforms with parental issues, so Mordred and Fran can empathize with each other in an environment where they are not in conflict, that being FGO.

But Mordred is part dragon though. Doesn't that give Siegfried's np the upper hand?

"using command seals like water" In Stay Night they also use a lot of command seals for dumb reasons, Rin wasted 2 commands on archer, Shirou wastes 2 commands on Saber in UBW, Sakura wastes 2 commands to give Shinji control, Atrum uses 1 on Medea but his wording allows Medea to ignore it and wastes 2 additional, Kirei uses 1 on Cu that forces him to not go all out or fight anyone that survives him NP. "We still don't know why the Red Faction or the Black Faction wants the grail or how the Grail was 'stolen'. Darnic and the black faction want the holy grail because they are aiming to create a new association with Yggdmillennia at the center and wanted to use the great holy grail war to get rid of the current association. The red faction wanted to get rid of Yggdmillennia, because they are directly trying to get rid of them. They are only really intrested in the grail as a path to the root. The lesser grail is embedded in a homunculus however what Darnic stole was the greater grail, which is embedded into a piece of the land of Fuyuki, so with the help of the Nazis he managed to steal and transport that entire area of land. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by unbalanced power scaling, but the power is divided pretty evenly among the teams and it isn't like there aren't servants in other wars that aren't much stronger than servants in this one. Pretty much the only reasons I have seen is people dislike Apocrypha because they think Sieg is a too "boring, nothing, and/or cardboard character" and they hate the storylines with him

The "Greater Grail" was a massive object in the ground, the "Lesser Grail" that was in Illya/Irisviel/Sakura was more like a remote access to Greater Grail which is the Real Wish Granting device. The only real discrepancy at that point is how the Greater Grail looks different, but Apocrypha came out before the Heaven's Feel Movie and i'm not sure we had a standardized design for the uncorrupted Greater Grail before that movie came out (frankly, many early designs have changed over time, like Mordred showed up in Artoria's flashbacks in the older anime looking different than how she looks here or Fion in Deermud's flashbacks in Zero look drastically different from his FGO incarnation). "Why" each faction wants the Grail is kinds unnecessary, it's the Freaking Magical Wish Granting device, there is little need to why every character in a competition wants the a million dollars because it is a Million Dollars. If it is important to the plot or something then they will go into it in more detail, but as a general assumption, reaching the root is kinda the default wish of most mages and incarnation for most servants unless stated otherwise. Disregarding rules isn't that big a deal, pretty much every Fate series does so as none of them feature a "Normal" Grail war.
