Just found this channel I am going to start my own Bible Garden :) I shop in thrift stores a lot and see SO MANY cool bibles, 2nd hand yes and some of them are in like new condition. I recently found one called a "Rainbow Bible" and it has all the verses color coded and pre highlighted. Gold edged pages, just lovely. I think I will use it for my first Bible Garden. Thank you for these videos.
Lovely, thank you for sharing your labor of love. When I am having one of 'those' days, I get out one of my Bibles and follow a color of notes through out the Bible, it ALWAYS changes my attitude and mood.
Sister Cat, I so love how you create your Bible gardens! This Bible is so amazing! You inspire me every time I watch a review! I have been putting notes, stickers (every Psalm verse), at the end of books as I've read if I have room. I always decorate the front & back of my Bibles & even make little pockets that I can slide my strip of multi-color sticky flags & keep a straight edge in it as well. I highlight so many Scriptures! When I open my Bible to read, I feel joy now! Learned that from you! Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks! Lol! My biggest problem when it comes to Bible journaling is what to write. At the moment l am just writing and highlighting the details. The stories as they happen. Apart from that, l have no idea. There are some fantastic Bible journals on RU-vid. Can you suggest some things that will help me in my note taking?
