I have a 2023 NX350 hybrid with 9k on it. A couple times it didn't connect to my iPhone. I rebooted the iPhone and it connected. I experienced none of the other issues. I agree, the wipers should be an inch or two longer and I will upgrade the size when I change them. The only issue I have is the sound system will play loud, except for my iPhone. No matter where I set the volume, it doesn't go as loud as it would listening to a podcast. This may be a iPhone issue.
Same phone connection issue is in the 2023 RX. It doesn’t connect sometimes. The Ontario plant has quality problems on the RX like dash assembly, gaskets, panel alignment.
I have a 450h...the only issue I have is a slight vibration in the side view mirrors, but it is marginal. I also noticed this same issue on the last gen RX.
I don’t have any issue with the apple CarPlay and it works perfectly but Mine has random rattles in the B-pillar, and I think these rattles are related to the rails for moving the seat belt height adjuster up and down. I went to the dealer multiple times, and they changed the one on the passenger side, but it actually got worse. It’s really strange that no one else has mentioned this issue, as I’ve tried multiple different NXs, all with the same rattle coming from inside the B pillars. Also when I brake hard to a stop I can hear a very soft clunk sound from the rear of the car the moment it stops. NX 350 - 2023
Had issues that 2023 NX 350 would not recognized the keys a day or two after car was washed. We have 3 key fobs.. so it was not the Fob. Also the next day the System Malfunction came up with Brake Light in RED, and the smart /auto cruise icon... So maybe water or condensation got into the sensors? How do they make a car that can't handle getting wet????
I think I may have gotten Number 15. Its hard to tell. Had front door open and keys in my pocket but I was sitting slightly outside of the car. I had the car in ACC mode. I pressed the start button and the car started to beep. After some time the car horn went off. I got out and closed the door. The door would not unlock and the alarm would continue to go off. The fob would not work to unlock the car door. Left my phone in the car too. After sometime the horn stopped but the fob would not open the door. Using either the buttons or being close to the door. Used the manual release on the door but once the door opened, the beeping began and then the horn went off. I closed the door again. I waited for the alarm to stop. The next time I tried it, I pressed the start button twice and the alarm stopped. The fob worked again and it was all good.
Very interesting situation you got there. I think that is similar, but they were not able to get the door to open... Not sure if they used the manual release or not. But when it comes to a life, the window is worth breaking to ensure the passenger is safe.
The number 12 issue has been investigated already with Toyota few years ago and Audi back in the 80’s. Both times is it was determined that people were pressing on the gas pedal instead of the brakes.
the main issue I have with my NX 450h+ 2023 is that when on Apple Car , there is 2 seconds delay in the audio. If you do any action in let’s say youtube or spotify it register it after 2 seconds. Impossible to watch video and be synchronised with the audio. Has anyone experienced this ? It’s super fucking annoying 😭😭😭
I don't have any issues with Spotify. Don't watch RU-vid while driving. So don't know if it's an issue. Unfortunately wireless connections could have latency and couldn't cause delays
I used to have this issue. Then I got an update and now it works like a charm every single time. You might still have the old software on your head unit.
Regarding Question 16, the person said his car manual states "no hand washing of the car". Did you check your manual to see if it actually says that? I find that difficult to believe.
My biggest issue with my nx350 2023 is the windshield! It has tiny lines running through the whole windshield that can be seen when you focus on close or distant objects. It’s like a matte effect but with tiny horizontal lines. The Toyota technicians don’t know what it is and even refuse to accept it as a defect. I double checked with Lexus dealership display cars and they all had it! Went to a car convention and none of the cars (brand new models) didn’t have this. Anyone know what this might be?
My 2024 NX has a door problem. One of four doors has a problem. I can tell by opening and closing the door. It sounds completely different when I close that door. I just brought it 3 days ago, and I need to send it back dealer to fix the issue. Poor me. Anyone has the same problem?
Yes. But doesn’t work. No audio texting. Lexus says is apple software. Apple says Lexus software not compatible. There are 5000 Toyotas and Lexuses. With this problem
