Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
We're back in East Yorkshire today where we're on the mission to make really positive changes to our ever congested network. Some new 125mph trains for the Hull to Selby express route will improve journey times as well as capacity, however these keep getting stuck in traffic!
So some nice route upgrades around the North Ferriby area to add a passing loop for the express trains seems logical, as well as attempting to put a new flyover in around Broomfleet to ease congestion on our freight trains.

30:51 if you want to run the line that way, why not turn that road into a tunnel that goes under the station, that way, you don't need to delete the bus lines

Hi Joe, great video as usual. I was just wondering once you have sorted out broomfleet we could had a video where we just ride round on some of the trains so we could have a look at the network.

Completely redesign Broomfleet station, something resembling Doncaster station irl - fast express lines passing thru, slow freight around the back, and like 10 lines thru the station

Joe, I noticed you still have Central Trains 170s. I was wondering if you could replace them with either some 150/2 (Arriva Rail North), or some class 323s in Northern? Just in the next episode could you replace the Central Trains 170s plz?

Have you thought about expanding to the south bank, I'm from Grimsby/Cleethorps primarily Grimsby but I'd love to see an expansion where Grimsby, cleethorps, immingham and maybe Scunthorpe included

Is the bridge even necessary anymore? Isnt it left over from when cargo and passenger shared a line through the station. Can the track you were trying to put in be kept at ground level as the track would not cross anything and just use the bridge for the return leg? Towards Hull.

the video is kind of cut off at the start, and game volume is a bit too quiet, but still partially audible.

Do you know you can add secondary platform or waypoint to a line in case the first one is blocked train will use the other instead of waiting outside the station or for a clear track. It's useful when you have different speed or frequency trains on the same tracks.

I did not know you could add a secondary waypoint? I knew about the secondary platforms, we make great use of those at Hull :D

ok... my bad. You cannot do alternative waypoints.. I'm trying to figure out how did I do it in the past (it's been a while). I might have used priority signals on fast lane, or something like that. Anyway sorry for giving you false hope 😅@@JoeDobsongaming

where the green bridge is why not just take out the the green bridge and just have flat and level track that way you can see the trains and you have like 4 or 6 tracks across maybe even do a cross over before broomfleet
