Look at you doing things on your own. Being a mother gives us women a confidence we never knew we had. We become strong because our kids count on us to be strong. It's one of the many great parts of being a strong mama bear. Jessica, I'm so proud of you!! I'm thankful for your continued wellness!
This is to the Krocks in no particular order: Elsie is the cutest baby, give her a squeeze from me, Brian is the bestest husband, dad and support this family could ask for, and Jessica, you are a lovely young lady who deserves every bit of goodness that comes your way! Have a blessed Christmas 🎄
My husband's stage 4 cancer has been treated at Mayo-Rochester for the past 2 1/2 years. He remains in remission, but continues to be followed up there every 3 months. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. (It's just a 2 hour drive for us.) We have such confidence in his doctors and the efficiency/customer service of the clinic is second to none.
Am SO glad at the 14:50 mark you note the value of going to the Mayo clinic because all the testing, MRI etc. are done on the same equipment, with people who know your health history firsthand. This is more important than many people may know. Am so happy for the good report. ♥
God is so good. A year ago we feared the very earthly worst and now you are at your very best. So so happy for you and your family. What a nice word, not just a husband but a family. Congrats. Lynn, Dodge City, KS
The ONLY positive of chemo were the cute curls I had growing in because my hair had been stick straight my entire life. I’m so thrilled your lives are in such a positive upswing. Happy holidays! I’m hopping on an airplane now to go meet my first grand-baby, also a girl. 😊
That was so cute when you said this little cutie and Elsie turned and looked at the camera. She is adorable and I love your hair. I am so happy for you.
You have suffered and endured so much and now your little Elsie has changed everything for you! As a fellow cancer survivor I know cancer is never distant in one’s mind. Praying for continued dancing with “NED”!
I could tell a huge change in Brian's 'vibes' after the results! Now, I pray you three can take a BIG breath and move forward into a joyful and magical first Christmas with Princess Elsie! Love and hugs.
I agree with Brian! Your hair looks amazing. You look so much younger without the headbands🫶🏼 You look beautiful and radiant and Elsie has a glowing mommy❤ Brian, what a loving, supportive and happy daddy and husband. Great news in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic. Thank you for the update!
You're really rocking the curls, Jessica! And how cute is Elsie? I'm so happy the scans were good. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you don't post between now and Christmas, have a wonderful season!
Definetly one of the most beautiful family’s on utube. God be with you and I am praying that you will have a long fulfilling life. Your strength, transparency and love continue to shine 💡 through . Stay BLESSED 🫶🏿
You look amazing hair is super cute. Continue with Mayo from a Mom who lost her Daughter to colon cancer at age 51. She unfortunately had multiple hospitals due to the Covid situation and her fragile condition. I truly believe the same Doctors and same hospital hospital will be beneficial to you. Elsie is beautiful congratulations. ❤
I'm so super excited for you! Congratulations on your new house purchase, there's no evidence of any cancer, and little Elsie is adorable! You guys are really on a roll! 🥳🎉
I look at it this way for you. The more time goes by the more your eating regime and positive attitude works more and more towards an assurance nothing will come back. It's 7 years for me and I say I'm cured and I continue in life like I did before. Matured, yes, stronger, yes and knowing that I can deal with whatever comes in life. You saw how your healthy lady carrying your child went in only moments into a life threatening situation. So chin up and look to the future of joyously raising your daughter and having the healthy abundant life you always wanted and believed you would have Love you guys, pray for many many blessings.❤😊
A tip for your beautiful curls: Apply a strong gel onto really really wet hair- like dripping. Apply root to tip gently, lightly scrunching the tips at the end. Diffuse or air dry. You can use a few metal clips up front to control and add lift as it dries. Once dry it will feel hard and crunchy. Gently with fingers break that gel coating you’ve created by scrunching. And you’ll have the most soft and beautiful curls.
Mayo Clinic is awesome. It's where I had my surgery for breast cancer 16 years ago. My hair looked like I had an old lady poodle perm when it grew back in post chemo. Wish I had had the know-how back then to make it look so cute like you have with yours! Now, all these years later, my curls have gone away. Glad your follow-up was good news! You don't have to justify going to Mayo. A person would be crazy not to go there if they have the means (i.e. insurance!) because it's the best place to go. People from other countries go there because they are that good. I know they took great care of me! Best Wishes to you and your sweet family!
If I was you, I think would stay with the Mayo Clinic. They are known for their cancer care. You seem like it isn’t really hard to get there, you have a good relationship with your dr. and your baby is young enough to not be really effected by the travel. You have a wonderful husband, who is your best supporter that you could have. Your baby is adorable. I am probably going to try a new center myself that is more fitting for my illness in the coming months. Keep up the good work-so happy for you and yes I ❤ your curls!
I wish you knew what a blessing this channel is to me right now. I've followed your cancer journey from Day 1, and am so very pleased to see where you are now...because I've just been diagnosed with Stage 3 bladder cancer. I've learned from your channel to take this day by day, get the best doctors available to me, and do what they tell me. I know there will be many hard times ahead, but I hold you in my heart, Jess, which allows me to always have hope. PS Your hair is SO cute!
😱 I admit, I lost sight of your channel last year (thanks YT algorithm 🙄) but what is that cute little addition on the thumbnail 🥰? Congratulations Mama and Papa 💕💕💕
It’s crazy what chemo does long term to hair. A student of mine, 6 years old, had bone marrow transplant at Mayo. She was blonde before, black for several years after, but eventually got blonde again. Yes it is important to go where you got the best care. Recently i had medical care at Cleveland Clinic and I too was in the very best of health care possible and I didn’t have anything life threatening. Do what makes you feel comfortable for your mental health. And it is so great that you can compartmentalize and not bring it home with you!! Congratulations Jessica, beautiful Elsie’s beautiful mom!
I'm really happy for you guys. I so needed to hear this good news. Been following you guys as well as Jenny Apple and Sarah Pog and both those beautiful women had stage 4 cancer and now are Angels in heaven. Elsie is adorable and having gone through 6 IVF's, numerous surgeries, procedures for infertility and then breast cancer surgery I finally adopted my bundle of joy many years ago. So, I know after adversity how wonderful it is to have that baby in your arms.
First, so happy that you received good news! Second, Elsie has to be the cutest baby ever! Third, I know what you mean about going back to Mayo. We had a similar experience with my husband's cancer treatment. For all his follow-ups, we continued to go back to his treating hospital (which was huge and had a dedicated cancer hospital) because they had HIS doctors who were all familiar with HIS case. We went back for MORE than 5 years for our own peace of mind. He also had several problems in the following years that came about because of his earlier cancer treatments ... and we always went back to that hospital for treatment--even though it was a days' drive away. PS. I totally agree with Brian--your hair is adorable!
Yes! I think it’s really a very practice to get scans done at the same facility, with the same team reviewing those, etc. And I encourage you to do what YOU feel is best and good at any given time - it’s your body and your decision! All the best, Kathleen
Happy to hear the good news! Jessica, may your good health continue through old age. I always wish only the best for you, Brian, and beautiful little Elsie.
If you haven't checked it out, recommend looking at a few websites or videos about the "curly girl" method for styling curly hair. Glad to hear that everything went ok :D.
Oh Elsie is so beautiful !!.I love big Daddy and Elsie snuggled together ❤❤ ia KK so agree ,your hair is beautiful too !! Such great news ! Bless you all.!!
Welcome to the naturally curly club. ☺️ I was born with those curls and its really nice to just scrunch them a bit with Curls Rock Gel and let them air dry. I'm so glad that you're sticking with Mayo. When you have a serious illness, you choose the best. God bless and good luck from a 32 year cancer survivor here.
Love, love , love your hair! And Elsie is ADORABLE! Y'all deserve the best and I love how happy you all are. I wish you all of God's richest blessings!
