If everyone waited for all Tiers to be reached before backing the count would stay at 0. You wont get charged until the end of the campaign. You can cancel or edit your purchase at any time. Just make sure you do it before time runs out.

🤔 (CANTINA) Being a past Plastics Factory worker, It's $500+ for $25 worth of (likely low to Medium quality) PLASTIC that prob. won't be *_Weathered & Painted_* very well, if at all. The Set has *_NO STAGE_* & *NO 6 Man BAND*_ (or Aliens that are available to Buy at Retail 17:27 ) to put on it, even if the Stage were included. IMHO It's not a good value by any stretch of the imagination. 👎 I don't think this piece, if it Backs, will fetch what the Re-seller think it will on the 2nd hand market (for these reasons & more +)

The reason theres no "stage" for the band is that there never was one. The shots with the band and some aliens were shot later in L.A. Hasbro used the actual blueprints from Lucasfilm to make the Cantina. Theres no bandstand. Theres a shot in SW that shows the whole cantina and you cant see the band anywhere.

No question this week, just a thank you. Three weeks ago, I had to take one of my dogs the ER. We were there for about 6 hours. Thankfully, he was fine. While we were waiting I pulled up the new video and the first question was mine about potential Jedi four packs. It was a nice distraction. So, thank you for that. Bossk, in the deleted toschi station scene, it looked like that Toschi station had open ends of the bar and you could see daylight through one wall, and when they went outside they were on like some sort of hill city with buildings all around on some sort of hill, and the bar was on top of the hilled city, in the book of boba fett tv show , he went into a bar in the middle of the desert, not atop some hilled city.

Hello Bossk’s Bounty! Thanks so much for sharing my question. Both Carson Teva and Trapper Wolf do fly the older T-65 X-Wings. I do agree that the wing mechanisms should be reworked to make the wings more sturdy, when opened. And I do agree with you that we do need the remaining Red Squadron members from Yavin!

Hey Bossk, my question for next week is a follow up to the question about pre order figures being sold out, I wanted to pre order the 2 pack of Sabine Wren and Chopper that are Hasbro Pulse exclusives but they are sold out, so my only chance to get them is on the secondary market or if Hasbro produces more. Also I've seen a couple other RU-vidrs complaining about having to spend another $300 on figures they don't have just to fill the cantina ontop of the price of the cantina, so this will be an expensive display.

Hey Bossk, thanks for everything you do in this community! My QFNW: Within the next year, do you think we’ll get the Boba reissue with all the proper adjustments, like the card image, moveable range-finder, and chest computer read-out. And if any, what other Bobas would you like to see? I’d also love to see a Mythos Boba, Prototype Boba, All-black Gladiator Boba, ESB Boba etc… and how about an acid/battle damaged boba straight out of the Sarlacc! I think everyone agrees we should be getting a carded Jango with the other jetpack maybe, and the infamous poncho. I know a lot of the community have mando fatigue, but maybe these easy options for Hasbro could boost the profits for new tooling opportunities?

Hey BB Great content as always. QFNW You mentioned Barada 2 times over the last few weeks. Why didn’t Hasbro update him yet? He seems very simple for them to do, as is would be a repaint from Kithaba who is already in the TVC line. Tnx, keep up the good content.

I would love to be in a position to back the Cantina Haslab. I've only been collecting for the past 2/2 and a half years. I'm on a very tight budget. I'm one of those people who has always wondered why they never made this year's ago!! Financially I'm not anywhere near being able to back this, but I would still love to see this backed for everyone else. I struggle just to get the latest figures, let alone anything else. Some of the comments people are making do make me annoyed though. If you don't like it,then no one is forcing you to back it. I'm not personally getting it myself, but I still want to see it get backed. I'm looking forward to seeing people like yourself review it. Just because I'm not getting it,does not mean I do not want to see it out there. Great video as always 👍

Thanks Bossk for great TVC content. My question for next week is this- given the growing contempt for the Acolyte series, do you think the TVC Acolyte wave coming in the fall will be poorly received and hurt the TVC brand? I see parallels to what doomed TVC 1.0.

Howdy Tim! Excellent video and Happy Fathers Day! I made the same observation about Osha’s potential reuse, fingers crossed for a rebel commando! QFNW: You brought up a great point about the current OT X-Wing in TVC. As a kid, I remember having a similar x wing from the Saga Line in 2003-2004, and even then being baffled with how floppy the wings are. The recent OT X -Wings in TVC suffer from sharing the same wing deployment mechanism that is at least 20 years old. What are the chances we get a new OT X-wing with a wing mechanism as solid as the Poe Dameron x wing from 2019? The recent release of X-Wing pilot Luke gives me hope. Cheers!

Hi BB, QFNW- A little bit of a weird one for you: When you go on holiday or an extended stay away from home do you ever bring a figure with you? I always feel a little silly doing it but I usually bring something, even if sometimes it just sits in my bag for the duration. It’s nice to have something to fiddle with or pose if you get bored and are away from your collection.

I strongly agree that Hasbro should re-release Hrchek Kal Fas, Leesub Sirln and Pons Limbic, and with photoreal update. Trinto Duaba is also a great candidate but he would need slight retooling to have ball jointed elbows.

Hey BB, great video as usual. QFNW: Now that we have the Cantina Haslab, and we've had the Jabba Sail Barge, The Ghost, and The Razor Crest, we have seen ANH, ROTJ and post Oringial Trilogy Haslabs. What would you like to see as the next Haslab? I would like to see something from ESB. Maybe a Star Destroyer bridge playset, or Hoth Echo base command center, or a proper Bespin Carbonite Freezing Chamber. All three have several TVC figures that could easily fit into the playset; Imperial Officer 4 pack for the SD Bridge, Rebel Hoth Soldiers for Echo Base, and there are several Bespin figures already available security guards, cloud car pilots, and ugnauts, etc. What are your thoughts?

Awesome video, hoping personally with the return to Tatooine I really hope it is split up between the Cantina and other medias from both film/series. With that said QFNW, outside of the OT which are your top 3 or 5 Tatooine figure wants? Mine are Watto EP 1, Jawa Chieftan, Owen (OBK) Beru(OBK), and Amanaman.

Hi fella, QFNW: i know all the focus is on the cantina at the moment, but for the future, what do you think of a jedi council diorama for next years haslab? We could get figures like ki adi mundi, plo koon, shaak ti, saesee tiin etc. It would be a fantastic way to get out multiple wanted jedi in one go. Thoughts? QFNW- do you think card backs are dismal at the moment and Hasbro are missing a trick? As a kid we didn’t have internet - we had comic adverts, the odd tv advert and card backs… they showed all the figures..ships…playsets…even black out figures like Ewoks…. Imagine a great card back creating that excitement .. what you think mate? Recreate the magic of that special time!

@@lamarravery4094 I do agree, however I am pretty sure there are laws against advertising things that are not available. You could buy any of the Kenner 96 throughout the 7 years they were in production. Leia on a Jedi card etc.

Hey bossk, quick question, how do you feel about the capes in packaging. Some figures like Darth Vader have their capes positioned in a way where you can’t see the cape when looking at it from the front. Do you think hasbro could put a hole in the back of the plastic so the cape is more free, or do you think they intentionally scrunch it to preserve the kenner look. Thanks, love the content!

Hello there, new to your channel, love it, wish there were more collectors like you. Question for when you can. I am one of those crazy collectors that got 3 of this Haslab, that aside, my question is do you think this would have hit it's original mark plus the teirs if these figures were all on the Power of the Force cards with coin like they did for YakFace with the Barge. That way then collectors would truly have one of a kind carded figures that could be released later on classic cards. What do you think?

Great Video as always. Question for This Week. Do you think that Hasbro will release any new Vehicles/Playsets for the Disney+ Shows that haven't gotten any? I have collected all of the TVC Figures/Vehicles/Playsets for The Mandalorian including the Haslab Razor Crest and the Book Of Boba Fett, which only released the Starfighter (Slave One) and Throne Room. I didn't get The Ghost, but have pre-ordered the E-Wing Starfighter to go with the Ahsoka figures. Personally, I'd like a Vehicle/Playset or two to go with each Show, but since we haven't gotten anything besides figures from Andor, Obi Wan Kenobie or The Acolyte, I'm hoping that there's a possibility that Hasbro will release Vehicles/Playsets from those shows as well. It makes for a better Display with something besides just Figures. Thoughts?

Love the black series one, great design. Thanks aqua I'm a trooper and empire collector mainly in all their different variations . Don't want the droid figure that comes with it. That's an Amazon exclusive , would prefer it on it's own card back or multiple trooper pack. Great video! Question for next week; do you think we’ll get a new Sarlaac Pit any time soon? It’s really the only major piece missing from the Jabba scenes in RotJ in TVC. The Legacy Collection version isn’t very good and goes for a LOT on eBay.

Hi Tim, QFNW: TVC is treated by Hasbro as a collectors series for (mainly) adult collectors but continues to be sold primarily in the toy departments of major retailers (in Australia at least). This means it competes for shelf space with Hasbro's other toy lines- mission fleet, black series and Epic Heroes, and with other toys like hot wheels and Lego. My question is do you think distributing TVC like their other toys contributes to the prevalence of 'shelf warmers' and negatively impacts TVC sales? We don't have Hasbro Pulse down under, nor entertainment earth or other fan channels, but those seem like attempts by Hasbro to optimise their sales and distribution to a primarily adult collector audience.

QFNW, Is there some way we can can get Hasbro to prevent this ring of death issue happening on so many figures lately? I feel this is likely a result of the thicker card stocks getting shoved into existing shipper boxes which don't accommodate for the change in thickness. As a carded collector, I've never had to run around my capital city to so many stores (20-30)... just to find a single cardback worth buying, Axe Woves privateer & Dooku are the best examples of this so far. C'mon hasbro, this is getting ridiculous! Thanks!

I think looking at history at this point, assuming the 3.75 inch line doesnt die we will end up getting more Sequel figures eventually as the younger generation gain more of a voice and start asking for these characters like prequel fans did. That said Im convinced some characters have just missed their chance to be made in the scale because The rise of Skywalker got basically no merchandise, which is really unfortunate honestly. I personally think the reason star wars is where it is now in terms of reputation and merchandise is squarely on the execs at Disney and Hasbro for not dedicating enough to fleshing out this new era. Im convinced TLJ was undercut because of Rogue one and TROS by Solo, no one really got time to sit with these characters and get hyped for the next film or the designs of the characters because they were already being asked to move on to the next thing, and as someone who wants to see the sequel era properly explored instead of being ignored that sucks.

Regarding backing now versus waiting: having two levels to choose between I imagine may lead to late backers. I know as for myself: I want to back one but am undecided on the deluxe versus standard. I know I have limited space and would likely never display even the standard release in its entirety, but and also find myself kinda wanting that extra wall decor etc. but is that work an extra hundred dollars? Bah! So yeah still mulling over which level to back at.

Anybody else get their Stormtrooper orders from entertainment earth canceled? I preordered 8 of them months ago and they just canceled it due to "manufacturers no longer producing them". Doesn't make any sense. It was a preorder. Either way i doubt i'll ever bother shopping there again. Just curious if anyone else had that issue.

if they don't release the tonnika sisters separately from the cantina, then people who can't afford two cantinas, will have to either open theirs or keep them on card, so most people wont be able to play with them?

That's correct. Hasbro has confirmed that wuher and the sisters will never exist outside of buying the cantina. Unfortunately no later release of them on a different card back. Only the unlock tier figures (if reached) will be available on different card backs for sale to the public

Hi Tim, QFNW: With the "return to Tatooine" campaign do you think we will see a Vintage Collection Max Rebo and band? I have the POTF version in my Barge and would love to upgrade. Also with the release of Jabba for the throne room do you think we'll get new figures from Jabba's court including a re-release of the Gamorrean Guard or possibly a Rancor? Cheers!

Hi BB, The new VC231 stormtrooper is a more cream porcelain white than the previous release, do you think this new shade of white will protect it from yellowing or make the chances higher of yellowing?

I haven't backed it yet because I keep going back and forth on it. Hesitant due to the following: Thing is too big (as it should be). I don't know where I would display it. And don't want to leave it boxed. I don't have the figures to fill it. Maybe I use my vintage figures? Or do I buy figures for it? Not going to open the figures that come with it. All of the cups, lights, tables, chairs, etc.....are all going to get lost. Welcome other's opinions.

You say there's no reason to wait but there is. The last couple crowd funds have charged at the date it was funded not the last day of the campaign. They said we won't be charged till the last day but sorry that trust is gone. I'll back after the paycheck hits.

With all my respect. I do not think that we should be backing cantina by any means. Because there are three highly requested figure by the community (Tonnika Sisters and Greedo) that are just pay walled behind a very expensive play set that is a mid range quality plastic mass. I do understand the hype for the OT and other collectors. But we should not be letting them to win. Because we wanted Jango in a cardback but they made it deluxe. We wanted Tonnika sisters and Greedo now they are pay walled. Hasbro should understand that this is not the way.

The HasLab Cantina set is best suited for collectors who already own most of the figures to populate it with. It's overpriced at 500 and will cost much, much more just buying inflated figure prices on eBay. HasLab should stick with making vehicles.

I replied in another RU-vidrs video, but just because you don’t have all of the prior cantina patrons doesn’t mean you can enjoy or get use out of this. It’s not just for those that have all previous figures.

Hard disagree. Remember Hasbro gradually offered more Sail Barge related characters over a few years. Main heroes coming. Hammerhead all but confirmed (strong rumor). Still lots of cantina figures readily available at reasonable prices

what is the last day for the cantina to back it, if they charge on the last day, i don't want some other thing to drain my acct when that is about to charge it, maybe that is why people are waiting they want to make sure they have that exact ammount in their account when it is about to charge, in case they have other things they think might drain their account, like their trip the grocery store or the movie theater, so they have to wait until like three days before so they can keep them selves from spending any money before it charges?

No it’ll definitely fund. Final day backers usually 1.5 times day 1 (3000 day 1 backers for Cantina). Might not get to 17K. The Barge (OT) had a backing requirement of 5000 only so this was never going to be like the Razorcrest. Space and money is a big factor for collectors and

The point of waiting to back cantina is to force Hasbro to add something more to the deal. For me in Europe its 600eur for currently 3 20eur figures and a bunch of walls and chairs and cups.

US collectors pay tax in addition. I paid over 600 euro. It will never be cheaper on the secondary market. Custom versions of the Cantina are just as expensive and don’t have the detail or unique figures Hasbro offers

They will never do that, and the deal is great as is. Things cost more now than 20 years ago, that's just reality. (The quality is also way better) The best way to sweeten the deal is to unlock the tiers. For that we need momentum, which means back NOW. :)

@@aqualishdoug933 Sure, but it varies from state to state and its not 20% like in EU. Secondary market price will be for sure higher, but if i dont buy it now, i will for sure not buy it later (and i have the money to spend now) I dont think there is a big enough secondary market within EU to justify this as a good investment unlike Lego which has multiple well established marketplaces operating worldwide (many sellers even from my country) I dont see a big value here when i compare it to Razor Crest which would be more difficult to 3D print comparing to walls which are even one-sided panels. Unique will be only Wuher and Tonikas and im not totally crazy about Tonikas - i like defel species so for me the Arleil figure is more interesting.

4:18 no offence to the person who asked this but what a stupid question. They celebrate all these anniversaries in TBS - look how many Phantom Menace figures they're getting this year, five or six all-new sculpts, it's ridiculous, and we get zero. If they're celebrating a main movie anniversary in other lines then TVC needs to be included in the celebration. We deserve at least one figure, being completely shut out of these anniversaries is such a bummer.

🤔 (CANTINA) Being a past Plastics Factory worker, It's $500+ for $25 worth of (likely low to Medium quality) PLASTIC that prob. won't be *_Weathered & Painted_* very well, if at all. The Set has *_NO STAGE_* & *NO 6 Man BAND*_ (OR Aliens that are available to Buy at Retail 17:27 ) to put on it, even if the Stage were included. It's not a good value by any stretch of the imagination. 👎 I don't think this piece, if it Backs, will fetch what the Re-seller think it will on the 2nd hand market (for these reasons & more +)

Listen up, son, and learn something. The cantina doesnt cost $500. If it magically appeared on store shelves right now it wont cost anywhere near that. The $500 is each backers’ portion of the total cost of tooling, printing, and all expenses for the cantina and figures. This is where the number of backers vs. the cost and the various items on each tier comes into play. The actual cost of the item is factored into the total cost. Got it, son? Now go away, boy.

The only message that would tell Hasbro is we don’t want TVC product. They aren’t going to suddenly say “oh, we better reduce our prices” or something. They’ll just stop making product aside from lazy repacks. Or just go to completely TBS stuff. So not backing to “send a message” really won’t work how you think.

I’ve seen Custom cantinas that cost the same or more and they are nowhere near Hasbro’s standard and come with no figures. The newly tooled figures drive up the price here by about $100. And if you want to get your money back, buy 2 base sets and sell the carded figures/second Cantina in a few years - Tonnikas will be gold, more than VC66/VC67. Smart collectors knows this and are backing extras
