Hold up... Round Lab is available in a 500ml bottle AND it's even more affordable than Make P:rem?!? AND AND I'm assuming it's more hydrating?! I NEEEED 😍
I loved the Dokdo toner as well! I've been on a Tony Moly kick this year so I'm so excited to see that propolis toner ~ I can't wait to get my hands on it!
I’m definitely going to try that Goodal rice one. Thanks! I am currently enjoying the Peach Slices snail rescue toner. It’s really nice, it’s got that body as well, I always pair two toners cuz my skin is thirsty too but my base toner is always Make Prem. Love that one.
Oooh I love the Benton fermentation essence that is a super hydrating one. I didn’t know they released a new one! I’m usually up to date on all Benton because I just love that brand!! Totally going to their US website now to order! I love the fact that they always have sales and it takes 2 days to get to me in Kansas
round lab is amazing! i have dry skin and am obsessed with the dokdo cream. thank god i saw it while grocery shopping and picked it up! i'll have to try the toner next :)
Thank you Kelly. You are my toner guru! I just started using the Round Lab Dokdo cream - lovely texture and occlusivity for my dry skin; I think I will give the toner a try.
I'm literally obsessed with toners and essences. They made such a great impact on my skin. So I'm following (by that I mean: purchased) many of your suggestions! Thank you for all your efforts.
I was convinced you would love the Round Lab Dokdo toner! It seemed so basic and boring to me at first too but something about it is magic. I hope this encourages you to do a deep dive into the brand's other products. They seem to get slept on a lot but everything I've tried has been a home run.
Hi Kelly! So happy you enjoy the Round Lab Dokdo Toner as well! Currently I'm really enjoying the Soybean Nourishing Toner from their Soybean line! It feels watery yet somehow still able to give moisture on the skin, you should try it too! I think it's kinda similar with the Goodal one!
Thoroughly enjoy watching and rewatching your toner and essence videos - some of your most enjoyable content imho! Highly appreciate you taking the time to do texture shots!🙌🏾 Toners and essences new to me that I’ve just received and excited to play with are: Tiam Vita B Toner, Cosrx Fullfit Propolis, Missha Artemesia and Scinic First Treatment. Oldies but hopefully goodies. All Kelly recs of course!!
Such a great and thorough video of your latest toner recs! The Round Lab has been on my wish list for ages and the Goodal seriously sounds like exactly what my skin needs at the moment 😍Do you think it would work for us oily/combo peeps too?
I just emptied my bottle of YEON Lotus Root 87 renew toner, I wasnt entirely sure what to expect from it going in to it and I gotta admit I wasn't entirely sure it wouldn't cause a reaction on my skin but I've been really impressed by it.. Don't go into it expecting major hydration, that's not what it is.. But it is a beautiful simple moisturizing toner that my dry skin has fairly enjoyed and I am pretty sure that isn't the only bottle of this toner I'm going to use up - I do however have quite a few toners "in stock" which need to be used before I am going to allow myself to order a replacement
I seriously think that Round Lab is a hidden gem. I don't understand why almost nobody talks about them. Their 1025 Dokdo Cream is DELICIOUS for us combo/dry skin!
@@natsl3049 my gosh. I need this. My skin is so dry and dehydrated that I am afraid that it’s lightweight. I kinda like toners as skin refiner by laneige.
@@Amandaalmeida673 if you like Laneige, you should try Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha tea essence. It's simply amazing especially for your skin type. The texture isn't lightweight.
Hi Kelly! If you had to choose between the Dokdo toner and the Make prem relief essence toner, which one would you pick? I bought the Make prem one thanks to you and my skin loves it so I’m curious about your preference… ❤️
U need to try the Mary & May blackberry essence it's so good reminds me of the Dr C kombucha essence just different ingredients same idea feels like the same . It's nice I have both and go back and forth .
Hi Kelly, as you know, we all love your content! I'm really interested in the Calming Moisture Line from Pyunkang Yul! So as your reviews are the best, could you test these products for us? Greetings from Germany 😊
Could you do a this or that for make prem toner vs dokdo toner? They're both affordable, layerable toners that are affordable and it would be a close one!
it would be nice if you wrote in the description what skin type you have as an easy reference. i’ve noticed some other youtubers do that, and it’s helpful as a quick reference. thank you.
I absolutely love the Roundlab dokdo toner. It has a very nice finish and just feels so different from most toners I've used. I heard it got really popular in Korea too.
Hi Kelly I love your recommendations 🤩 I am confused actually...out of isntree's hyaluronic acid toner and toner plus and this round lab one which one is the MOST hydrating? I am a student so I can't afford to buy all 3🥲but I love hydrating toners😍please help😙
I've tried the Cerave toner and I don't find it to be deeply hydrating. On my skin, it does feel/have a fullness to it and I feel like it does build up a bit on the skin- not greasy, not sticky, but I feel like it does leave a bit of an odd .. feeling that I was not expecting. It does have a watery thin texture, but once my skin absorbs it, it doesn't feel as deeply hydrating as say the BOJ Ginseng essence water. I wonder if the ceramides in it are making it have that fullness effect on the skin? This was a bit of a let down for me, personally.. (almost afraid to say this because it seems to be loved and hyped up and I don't want to get attacked).. I didn't get that watery hydrating feel and it felt odd to then layer other skincare on top because it felt thicker than I would have liked especially for being at the start of my skincare. Perhaps that feeling after it absorbs is moisture, and I like full hydration at the start of my skincare.. does anyone know if the Make Prem safe me relief essence toner is the same?
I ordered the Vegreen toner the goodal rice toner wasn't sure if I needed it because ei ha be the TYF rice toner and I didn't know if it would be like amazing but I have been eying if and that rice crabs sense jt came out I'm really thinking about the round lab one to but not sure if it would be amazing , I'm such a toner junkie, I have a list of them I want the huru huro sensitive one but I'm kinda annoyed with the brand haven frangerance free sensitive one but it bothers Me that all their other products have essential oil and frangerance they should make a choice with all their products not just a toner. I have so much on my list. Eunni and Soo beauty just released a new box of looks good..
what is the best toner for combo skin that is acne prone in tzone but get dry patches from retin a use? it doesnt need to be from this video. I just need help deciding what to get
Thank you so much. I actually tried the dokdo toner and really did feel absolutely wonderful and hydrating! I am about to start a retinal and wondered if it’s suitable to use with it ( or the morning after) as it has slight exfoliating properties? Are there any toners you fee are more suitable to use with retinal ? Thank you so much! I’m seriously binge watching all your videos ☺️
Hi I'm Loretta De Los Rios using Frank's account to make this comment with his permission. Thank you for this video I am in search of toners.🙏🤲👍⚘😊👋🥰 Your hair color looks nice.
Heyyy kellyyy, I'm wondering which one would have a better effect for anti aging ? Adapalene or retinal (I have mild acne so I want to try out one of these two haha)
Adapalene 0.3% has comparable efficacy to Tretinoin 0.05% for anti-aging. It’s likely that OTC Adapalene 0.1% could be comparable to Tretinoin 0.025% for anti-aging as well, and it’s already been shown to be comparable for anti-acne effects while being less irritating than Tret. Retinal would obviously be less irritating than both, but is usually more expensive than just buying Adapalene OTC.
Adapalene is probably going to be more beneficial for acne and there are easier and more affordable options and percentages available than retinal as mad world posted above.
It would be one of these since the Wishtrend essence isn't really a hydrating toner product but more like a gentle skin clarifying essence (hope that makes sense).
At the age of 49 I have to admit I don’t know enough about toners. When I was in my 20’s I really didn’t see what the benefits were of using a toner. I guess I am still a little unsure about that now. Also, where does it go in your routine? Is it just after cleansing and just before serums?
Yes toner is after cleansing and before serum, finish with cream. I’m Korean, I’ll share some tips 😉 After cleansing don’t over dry your face, leave it damp then toner will absorb better. After (gently) spreading it all over your face, pat your face til it’s mostly absorbed, repeat again, so you have a second layer. After your serum & moisturizer, watch your face glow. Good luck!
@@lalaDonna thats a great tip!! I have to admit that my skin changes from 0 to 10000 after I start using toners. For me this step was a game changer. I always use my hands to apply. Do you have instagram where do you share your tips about skincare?
@@Amandaalmeida673 hi there, no instagram here. So far the most helpful tips in english come from Soo beauty and Euniunni. You’ll learn standard skincare methods that Koreans do daily
Sick and tired of the fact that skincare can't be simple and basic. As someoen who has sensitive Rosacea and fungal acne skin, 99% of all skincare doesn't work for me and breaks me out. So hard to come by simple, yet effective products not stuffed to the brim with plant extracts, essential oils, actives or chemical exfoliants. And brands or companies reformulating already tried and true staples, ruining it for the sake of FOMO.
