@@2nd3rd1st Damn right! Any new move I try seems terrifying! I guess as I am a technician and love rough and tough applyied science it helps avoid some scratches but there is no way to avoid all of them! Take the hurt and avoid it on next try! 🤕
Jack on competition lines looks awesome but when he going and do some street (TGS) moves.. omfg.. this is next level.. i hope he doing more stuff like that..
Hi Ali, you can now see why your mate Jack is a World champion in his style of riding and also he gave you some much needed inspiration to do a trick that you thought was not possible and for me that’s always a bonus for anyone and it also helps with other things as well and that’s all from me this week as I have to go to bed soon as I have an early start in the morning and TaRa for a bit.
Congratulations on your progression and getting that move you were thinking about for years! I hope you have many more positive achievements in your future. 👏
It's fun to see how you just seem to be riding on every corner of the street. Normally it feels like you are at spots while with Jack it just seems you look at the closest wall and thing let's get up that. Pretty fun to see those differences.
Yeah he definitely will ride on anything he sees, I’m more afraid of the outcome of it goes wrong (like the glass breaking on the bus stop or making too much noise etc) so I tend to stick to places I know work…maybe I shouldn’t be so scared
Amazing!!!😮 It’s so impressive what he can do with his bike. Last Sunday I had the honor to go on a streetride with non other than Mister Oliver Widmann himself. It really blew my mind what he was capable of😶 he saw lines on stuff where I would’ve NEVER thought about riding on. I felt like a bloody beginner again😂
No way depressing! Keep your spirit Ali... I watch your videos because you are positively going forward fairly any new lines... missing, grunting, shibering... just takes more than Mr. SINGLE Try Casual Ender! Trial_Jannes, me too feeling beginner! Took me 2 hours of pumping, screaming, blushing, no scratche happily, pushing to back hop, pause then hop down the side of my trailer barely 2 foot higher than the curb and grass on it's side. I guess I might take a century just to mentally figure out how to hop and grab on the red box on the high pole! 👴
Just imagine being Jack and being able to get on any roof/obstacle anywhere you look. That would've been so much fun..making a line literally of everything in the city. Loved these two videos Ali! Can't wait to see more of your actual riding, too ;)
Absolute Ninjas, both of you. I've said this before but, as a veteran martial artist, with your strength and balance, I cant help but see how phenomenal you guys would be in ANY style of martial arts. And they are never going to make an action film that integrates trials riding, so forget your movie career.
Nice video with the two of you. Ali- I always love when you get rolling backwards as part of a line. Yes, do another vid with Jack. They keep getting better.
Just on another level guys, I sweat having Jack around must put you on heat Ali, having soneone to make it look easy can give you the push you need to just believe enough to try it
Been really looking forward to this... Can't remember who said it but ..."while Jack Carthy is on the scene, the world will be fighting for second place..."
Oh mannnn i am absolutely in love with this video... It's astonishing seeing you and him ride those insane spots! It gives me such a power!! Absolutely I want to see him in street trial!
Unbelievable level of riding! I'd love to see some proper bunny-hops from Carthy, big ones like Watson does. I know bhops are useless & hard in modern 26" trials unless jumping a kicker, but find them very beautiful to watch.
When it comes out Ali should get the bsd revolution hub designed for dj bikes because it is a free coaster with a disk break mount and you can use pedal pressure with it I think it is bsd making it but it might be a free night hub
My Hex is around 1030-1040mm wheelbase (never actually measured it so I don’t know…it’s the least important measurement on my bike) and Jack’s is 1085ish…his is longer but the actual reach is similar to the Hex which is why he has such a long stem…why comp bikes don’t have steeper head angles with more reach is confusing to me
Charlie and Jack destroy everything destroy all unbelievable levels the two now a video with Danny Jack Damon Watson and Neil Tunnicliffe and Craig Lee Scott
Ali, you are looking like a child in a candy-store with free choice, but only with trial-lines :D...you point at something and Jack is doin it...so funny...and mindblowing...
@@Ali_Clarkson like you were saying- it changes the perspective and allows you to do lines, you thought never were possible...really poetic moment when Jack told you he learned the hook-roll-up from you...a thing young Mr. Carthy never thought was possible...see, everything comes full circle ;)
Get a trials bike now, its never too late, great balance game with lots of rewards. I'm 52 and still ride trials bike, moto trials, mountain bike, enduro moto and unicycle . Life is short, do it
He hangs so far back on those static hooks! When I rode trials, "Up to front" was called "Spanish style" I believe. Has Spanish style gone the way of the J-Zap?
@@Ali_Clarkson Yes, I believe so. The legend that I heard was that a diminutive Japanese rider didn't have the power for some big ups and developed the tap technique to help. Clever kids.
