Hey, Amy! Loved your quotation or thought from the beginning of this video. I always watch for them eagerly to see what words of wisdom you have for us. It's surprising how many times they have felt really appropriate to whatever's going on in my life. And when they don't? I just assume that I was in need of those words without yet being aware! Loved this video! So fun to watch you add all the details and projects to "finish" the space (using quotes, because are we ever finished??). So many I had noticed and loved - moving the fridge and the new curtains - which I love. The new lights hadn't specifically registered. I thought your sink area looked more open, at one point, but I couldn't have said why. And I don't think the switch from 1 light to 2 over the island registered with me. I absolutely never "saw" the barstools! They are absolutely fabulous! I agree that the wood is perfect in the space - goes well with the colors of the walls, cabinets and wood top on the island. And they're so stylish without being over the top! Perfection! It was fun to see everyone excited about the changes and Weston!!! Just another reminder of how quickly they grow and change! I really like your taste in the choice of the new curtains and the bar stools are just gorgeous! How clever you are to use PVC pipe to make your own curtain rods! I would never have thought to do that, but it looks great! And I know you are happy with changing out the placing of the cabinet and fridge. What a difference that makes for working in the kitchen when you can open your fridge doors all the way!

Hello Amy, I love your quote for today. Thank you for your positivity. I thought you moved the frige over, I saw that a couple of videos ago. Very smart & it looks like it functions much better. I just tossed out 2/3 of my spice cabinet last week in a declutter/kitchen reorganization. I had all the fancy jars but only reached for about a dozen of the spices. So I got my 8 oz mason jars out and filled the 12 I used on a weekly basis and then tossed the rest of them. It feels so much better.
