Hallelujah 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 thank you! An informational video that cuts the crap and straight to the point! I don’t need to know what you did the night before with your friends or you that played frisbee with your dog at the park. I ain’t got all day.
Thank you for showing a way to paint without having to sand. The sanding is the hardest part! I don't want to sand so either I have to use reclaimed paint or chalk paint but reclaim has texture and chalk doesn't last as long. So I'm glad you showed a way to prime with a quality primer so I don't have to sand anymore!
Thank you so much for this simple video. I can't even tell myself how many difficult DIY paints videos I've seen where I had to spend so much money for the equipment. This is a lifesaver.
Very nice job. As a painter I appreciate your work. That was a big job doing all the cabinet boxes and both sides of the doors! Good for you. Looks so much better!
We're remodeling our kitchen now and I'm painting our new cabinets the cream and mocha glaze with oil bronzed hardware. I husband is painting the walls now and we are so excited to finish and see our hard work pay off. ❤
I’m so glad I saw your comment! I didn’t know if you could paint old laminate cupboards - I thought you could only repaint solid wood ones! I’ll be doing mine this week - makes it look like a brand new kitchen 👍🏻😀
Thank you for this. I’ve been watching other videos and the idea of having to sand was getting to me so if I can just prime and color then that will be great. I have a small kitchen so not a lot of cabinets - I’m going to use this technique
It's so pretty! As much as I want to paint my maple cabinets I don't dare. I'm thinking counter tops and backsplash with my new paint color will finish my kitchen just fine. ❤
what an amazing video. I have a small kitchen and am planning on painting the cupboard doors over the Christmas break. I love a challenge and there were lots of tips. Terrific!!
I am doing this project right now and I thought the same thing. I did the tsp, sand, 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of paint. It might be fine to skip the sanding, but it feels like the right call to me and it should allow the paint to adhere much better. Not worth skipping that in my opinion.
That makeover cake out so nice! I love oak cabinets and personally hate while cabinets. This is a happy medium. The cabinets look great with the black countertops. ❤️
Wow what an amazing job. I love it. I'm looking for ideas on how to upgrade my kitchen as I dont wanna buy a new one for a rented apartment. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the amazing work
Yea so ive been wanting to do this but it seemed like a too big job. This version makes it doable by o9n painting doors and exterior and not empying the cabinets. I think im ready to take this project on!! Great video!
Great job..The cabinets are very rich looking. I try to become inspired however I know that I don't have the patience...wonder what this would cost to hire someone to do this!!!😊
Omg I want to do this for my mom!! It’ll be such a fun project and even more fun to see her reaction. Maybe when she goes on vacation next year? Her cabinets are the same old school oak. Do you have a video on updating non-granite counter tops?
That’s a lot of work, you did a fantastic job. They are really beautiful 👍. PS. It’s good to see left handed craft work. I know some people like the “ Worn “. look, I would make it look brand new.
Yeah I was thinking about doing my cabinets in a dark Blue. OMG what's the odds in finding this video.? Just fixed my garage door opener B4 I saw this awesome video.
You ARE my inspiration!!! I really want to do the same thing in my kitchen, but the time factor and space...Ugh! I will get to it if the Lord tarries! Thanks so much for sharing!
I use valspar cabinet paint all time. I love it, it goes on beautifully and stays on. It critical to allow the paint to cure completely, most people are unable to do this, paint feels ok to touch within hours but it take weeks to cure. The longer you allow it to fully cure the more of a beating it will withstand.
Wow! I am actually in the middle of remodeling my parents entire house. And was wondering how to do the kitchen. N wonder if it was possible to paint it over instead of buying a whole new set. This would save me money.. I came across this! Nice work and thanks for sharing ur work. ❤
This is very useful. We're slowly repainting our whole house, which has been done in a shade I call "previous landlord/owner BLECH." We're going to have bright, warm colors instead of the mixed tone of blah green, drab gray, and who knows what yellow that's all over the house. We don't have a garage, but there's lots of room in the basement to paint cabinet fronts.
Love how they turned out... Do u have any ideas for a DIY project for a home beauty salon for a garage? Or how to do a pantry style cabinet for salon use? Thank you!
