Just make sure to claybar before buffing because you get all the junk into the pad and its harder to get things out also just 4/5 drops. and the pad used is okay for a cut and buff but if you want to polish it you need a less aggressive pad

Did you happen to see the coolant/oil mixture in the number two cylinder when they pulled the head off? He had a failure somewhere. They even talked about it briefly...
@@baltazard133T yeah, he had the engine upside down for 5 hours. Oil will get in the cylinders. Taking the head off will allow coolant from the passages to go everywhere. That's the mix you saw

I wouldn't say that's a particularly "bulky" bumper, but different strokes for different folks I guess, it just looks cheap and like something is missing with a roll pan in my opinion. I think there's a meme going around comparing rollpans to girls with flat asses 😂
I've never understood the roll pan craze. I've seen maybe two or three trucks in my entire life that I think it made sense on...the rest I prefer seeing the bumper...it's a truck after all...it should have a bumper.
I do paint refinishing and repair for a living. You are supposed to keep the pad flat on the paint, but that's not nearly as important as not pushing the buffer. Stiff arms, light pressure to keep it flat. And those wool pads you're buffing with are very aggressive and might grab more. It also produces a lot of heat so be careful so you don't burn the paint.
Oh and SEM trim black cans are awesome for those black trim pieces. Spray it in three light to medium coats from no less than 8 inches away to get a very even and nice finish
Wants to compete with Tommy for how a build ends up. Also just starts ‘buffing’ with no knowledge on how to buff and doesn’t even give it a chance by using a dirty starting surface. After watching the last few videos can life really be as hard as these two make it? Granted it makes for silly content but holy crap this channel should be shown to every fledgling auto tinkerer as ongoing evidence on how to do things poorly over and over again.

Chris. 100% do the roll pan !!! You have basically built a static mini truck being all slammed, wheels, V8 conversion, etc. the rear step bumper thingy doesn’t suit it. The roll pan is 100% mini truck and it suits the truck perfectly. 👍🏻
I laughed hard with will fighting that airbag removal. Mercedes uses a similar release method on a number of different wheels. It’s about being gentle and he’s so aggressive
I personally like both styles of rear ends as well as the bumperless look, if you know the Colorado was LS swapped it could have no tailgate and no taillights it’s still tight, basically a newer S10
I've gone through 3 water pumps in my 335. Those things are very expensive time bombs. Also replace EVERY piece of the 135s cooling system while you have it apart. It's like 90% plastic and it all turns to dust and crumbles after so many heat cycles. That's why the water pumps grenade too cause they use plastic impellers in them. Also, do the high pressure fuel pump if he hasn't already gotten a new one. They always let go at 80k-100k and are a nightmare to do in the car. Also roll pans are rice.
Like the bumper better, also def need to get some staged foam cutting/polishing pads & compounds to properly buff with lol. The "based on the skill set it'll take a little or a lottle" had me rolling. 😂

Get a grommet for the hole in the tailgate latch to keep water out so you wont have to end up replacing it. I like the bumper because the black breaks up all the white at the back but the roll pan is a cleaner look
