Siouxsie Sioux is terrific and I am admiring your Undertones 7" singles.. In honor of them, I am listening to Teenage Kicks and My Perfect Cousin right now ! Polecats.. I don't know, looking at them now. Ahhh I get it.. Rockabilly ! Thanks, Mike
Great finds Mike 👍I'm not far from completing my Banshees singles collection. The Undertones singles collection looks fantastic as does the Knuckle Girls Comp. Cheers Mike
Top stuff there from start to finish...Hong Kong Garden ...def. in my top ten singles of all tme... The Undertones...feargal rocking his parka way before Liam G.....and that Two Tone book 😎 Thanks...
Another cracking video! I think I have most of The Banshees' singles, including quite a few 12'' ones...all in pic sleeves apart from Hong Kong Garden. Just got that Skinhead Reggae 1969 lp today on your recommendation. Also picked up the Slade Alive reissue on red and black splatter vinyl...less than a tenner on Amazon. My original is signed by Noddy. Waiting for the 'Freedom' reissue by Clancy Eccles, originally released on his Clandisc label through Trojan in '69...should be here on Monday. Have wanted that since one of my mates found it in Woolies for pennies in 1970. And...my wife picked up a triple CD best of the Bay City Rollers for 50p in a local charity shop this very afternoon...used to laugh at them back in the day but love them now...perfect pop...if they were good enough for The Ramones, they're good enough for me! Fancy those bovver girls lps too!
Hi Steve, the Uno Mas, is a strange mix of styles. I lifted this as it describes it perfectly. Led by Ayers' gorgeous voice as she duets playfully with Simonon, both bilingually singing in English and Spanish, the resulting album journeys across the continent, influenced by French chansons, Spanish pop and English sea shanties; evoking scenes stretching from Edgware Road to Hydra Island. Thanks pal Mike
