EDITED some more details into the video.
More sounds from my guitar rig & gear run. It's not really HD beacause my old iMovie couldn't handle it, but pretty good quality anyway.
Gear used: Hagstrom Super Swede Tremar, Ibanez RG7321, JAK Jussi Ala-Kuha Explorer, Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp, Rocktron Sidewinder preamp, Mesa Boogie Fifty/Fifty Stereo Tube Power, 2 4*12" straight speaker cabs with Celestion Greenbacks (Marshall & Framus), Tc Electronic G-Major, Line 6 M13, Electro Harmonix Micro POG, Boss LS-2, Roland expression pedals.
M13 is connected stereo to both preamps and effects can be placed before or after them. (like input and loop) M13 controls scenes, G-Majors presets and G-Major controls preamp channels via relay. Expression pedals control M13 effects. In some scenes expression pedals may work backwards to get specific effect parameters do things properly. LS-2 is for straight, boosted and POG signals. B-loop has only cable from send to return and volume crancked. (not used in this video) There's allso Dunlop Cry Baby and some other pedals that are not used In this video. I forgot to show off intelligent pitch lead sound which has different harmonic scales on expression pedals.
Video & speaks recorded with iPhone 4. Audio recorded (two tracks at the same time) with Macbook + M-Audio Mobile Pre USB + Garageband for Mac. Mesa Pre+Mesa50/50ch1+Marshall is panned hard to left channel and Rocktron+Mesa50/50ch2Framus is panned hard to right channel. Edited with iMovie for iPhone 4 & iMovie for Mac. "Score" music by iMovie.

The wide chorus is actually from TC G-Major Advanced Chorus. It has "phase reverse" function. It's basically set in zero rate and depth with little predelay and phase reverse on. I dont think you can really accomplish this with L6M5 without the phasing sound. G-Major is the only one I can do that with. :) I now use TC detune and delay with different delay times on L & R + Eleven Rack delay and reverb in same manner. So there's like 6, 12, 18, 24, 28, 36 and 40 ms delays. :) Brian May style... :)

Dude, the Mesa guitar tone is SICK! I think I'm gonna get me the Mesa studio pre-amp after seeing this !!!! Thanks. Great video. I also have the M13, just bought it used today and it came with an expression pedal. I think I'll have lots of fun with it.

I love the sounds! You definitely have a great ear for good sound. I saw a guy using two M13s at the same time, I thought that was cool too! I have one and I just use it for fx. I'm also suggesting Line 6 to come out with a bigger one.. like an M16 or something with more scenes, I'd definitely buy that one. Anyway, thanks for posting this video! Keep rocking!

Yes, with Rocktron. Left channel is Mesa and right channel is Sidewinder. Only noise gate on from effects units. That's not The heaviest sound they can produce, but suits the songs they're ment to be in.

@sl4zhz Guitar is recorded with two mics (Beyer & EV) as you can see in the video. Mics go directly to M-Audio Mobile Pre USB preamp to Apple Macbook Garageband software. Only one take, two tracks recorded same time (+iPhone mic which is used only for speaks) and mics are panned hard left (Mesa-Mesa 50/50 ch1-Marshall) and right (Rocktron-Mesa 50/50 ch2-Framus) in the mix so they are panned same way I hear them when I stand in front of cabs. So it's pretty much as stereo as it can be. :)

@Troglored I think I'll use either some small combo or speaker cap simulation for my dry channel. This rig is supposed to be wet/dry/wet for live situation so our FOH guy won't be overwhelmed with the amount of my FX's. Haven't had a chance to decide whether it'll be Red Box by H&K or some Palmer stuff. Or combo amp. Dunno yet. :) Propably i'll go with speaker simulation box so the dry channel is really dry and clean (no mic leaks etc.)

Very good sounding, very versatile and useful. You can use it as a midi controller too. Sold mine, back to real stomp box world for now. Have to keep roots on analog world. :)

@xPeavey6505x Yes you can in latch mode, but I do it in standard mode, but thats because im plugged into the effects loop on A triple rec, and the effects loop on the rectifier has an fx loop footswitch so I can have the m13 effects on 4 at A time or w/e and then hit the pedal of the mesa and boom all effects in the loop are on at once. @mromcy It's basicly just both preamps on crunch and phase reversed chorus from G-Major. I may have some Screamer boost on M13 too. Sounds pretty wide. :)

Greetings, AcidmoviesINC. Excellent video! Excellent sounds! Excellent playing! I see you are using all your stereo outputs on the M13, including stereo FX loop. I would like to be able to run my M13's front end and FX loop via a loop switcher (the One Control Crocodile Tail OC10) on stereo into a Vox AC30C2X and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. How do I do that? @sl4zhz And btw the sound samples part of the video was a 12 minute one take with iPhone 4. I moved video to Mac and syncd video to audio in Garageband. I edited video it just to be more interesting with guitar changin all the time etc. Didn't bother to edit mistakes off. :)

Good video. Wondering if anyone can help me. I'm using the M13 with the four cable method and am trying to add a Digitech Jam Man looper into the mix where I can use the looper on (clean and dirty channels) and have it loop properly sounding not mushy. Can anyone advise me on how to get it into the mix properly? Much appreciated.

Man, awesome tone you got there!! This is kind of a tricky question: When in "crunch sounds", have you delayed in your recording rig or sequencer any of the two signals (L or R)? Cause it sounds so wide and "separated", no phasing issues or frequency crossing on center. I know the only thing in common in the two signals is the mesa 50/50, and all of the rest are different devices on each channel, but i´m sure there's more to it... a 20-30 ms delay on one side perhaps?

(continues) And by the way, the even "huger" cruch + chorus with phase reverse. How do I do that? Was it any of the choruses in the M13? cause I have the M9 and it will be great to try it. That preset settings would be greatly apreciated! Thanks in advance for your answers. I also had the M13, nice stuff, but I went back to individual pedals with a switcher, and bought the M5 in case I missed any of the cool effects the m13 had. Rock on!!

@Troglored 100 watts is bit too much for me 'cos I like that speakers break up a little without having to drive them loud as hell. That's why mine are 25W Greenback's. And I can easily use up to 4 cabinets without FOH guy and audience going insane. :)

Hello , il would like to use the 4 cables method with the M13 and my Marshall but a lot of noise and that without any effects on!!! Connected correctly , i apply a noise gate but noise noise noise!!!! i don't understand why??? if you have a suggestion? in advance thanks...

Check your power wiring. It could be ground loop thing. Everyone should have hum eliminator if you try to do some complex stuff. Such as www.zzounds.com/item--EBTHE2PKG Saved my ass maaaany times. :)

I just hesitated between the Hum eliminator and Effect Loop corrector EFC under the guidance of Morley who told me that was great too. Do you know this new Morley Ebtech EFC?? G-Major has relay switch for amp channels. And M13 sends midi PC-messages.

I'm gonna quote myself on this one 'cos someone asked it before. I don't remember exact parameters for that sound anymore. :D The wide chorus is (if I remember correctly) T.C. G-Major's advanced chorus with phase reverse on. Boss CH-1 has somewhat similar stereo image. I used that with two Marshall stacks at one point and it does similar super wide effect without sounding too chorus. (You need to set the rate and death to zero and just use it to widen the stereo image. And you need two amps of course.)
