I've seen quite a few videos on acrylic risers. The problem I have, is choosing the correct size and height for my figures and shelves? Most of my figures are 7-8 inches tall on average. Though some are larger, or slightly taller, and have fairly large display bases. For example: my Vibration Stars Hinata has a base about 15cm by 10 and a half cm wide. While my Leafa display base is about 10cm wide. Any advice?
I've found the 3" x 4 "x 5" was the best fit for majority of my figures, which range from Banpresto prize figures to Pop Up Parade and some 1/8 scales They also come in a set of 2, so you can use them in pair to lift up your figures! Hope that helps!
@@Awarsing That does help, but I'd prefer to only use 1 per figure for efficiency sake. Also, I assume those numbers are the heights if the risers?(sorry, I'm new to risers)
No worries Yes on Amazon Niubee products, the numbers are referring to the height With this set, it's a cube size, so equal height and width + length: www.amazon.com.au/NIUBEE-Acrylic-Display-Figures-Decorations-3/dp/B07KN5G9CQ While this one is the next one up, also double the price: www.amazon.com.au/NIUBEE-Acrylic-Display-Figures-Decorations-3/dp/B07KN3DTSD/ This one would give you a more wider surface: www.amazon.com.au/NIUBEE-Acrylic-Display-Figures-Decorations-3/dp/B07RLFG85R/ Though you're likely to end up having to use two for those one base on the size of your figures
@@Awarsing Thank you for being so understanding. Other people I talk to online treat me like an idiot, unless I tell them I'm a newbie. So I just wanted to be safe. As for the links, all of them say currently unavailable, but the first one gives me a good idea of the dimensions in the 2nd photo. And the the last one seems like the best option for me. Provided the width from front to back is thick enough for my vibration stars Hinata? Also, some of my figures fell off my shelf, despite standing pretty well. Which tells me I'll have to consider figure stands on some of them. specifically my 1/4 scale Raphael, and legacy Power Rangers figures.
@@nine_tails137 No worries! Sorry to hear of the experience you had online for this topic Bummer it's not in-stock for you to order Regarding the last link (8" x 6" x 4"), I did a quick check with my Rengoku Vibration Stars on the largest stand in that set: drive.google.com/file/d/10thllphLX8RKmvZfIAHzXhz6UFdWnsPU/view The thickness is about 4mm: drive.google.com/file/d/1zciWgMKsE-_QKi0ZXpO802I1OKAb8SSE/view Oh that's not great at all for your figures to fall. Hope the risers can help to keep them in place! Side note: I love the original Power Rangers!
I really appreciate the content you put out! It’s always so helpful. I have a similar question as someone in the comments. Which set of risers do you recommend for Tamashii Nations and Ichiban Kuji?
Thanks! Glad it's been helpful! For Tamashii Nation, is that for the Figuarts Zero? I don't own any Ichiban Kuji, but from the looks of the photos, they're pretty large. I would recommend the 8" x 6"x 4": www.amazon.com.au/NIUBEE-Acrylic-Display-Figures-Decorations-3/dp/B07RLFG85R/ They’re quite wide and comes in the set of 2 , so you can also use 2 to prop one figure up!
@@Awarsing Thank you! One more question if you don’t mind. Just for clarification, are you suggesting using the 8 x 6 x 4 risers for the Figuarts Zero figures as well?
@@dwaynejefferson8497 No worries. Yes that is correct! Here are some examples: drive.google.com/file/d/1-zsdN8YeAb6ZG3kirg-wi1RRMvWPLs_0/view?usp=share_link Closer look: drive.google.com/file/d/1y2PpudIiX_DamWOhZTwMAu6sm6Lrmn5y/view?usp=share_link
