More parents need to start talking about this. This should be everywhere. It almost seems like certain people trying to hide something happened during the pandemic either at the hospitals something not right.

My child is a pandemic baby she’s 2 1/2 years old and she says very little words. She understands everything she follow simple directions and I’ve always wondered do you to the lack of socialization due to the pandemic if this is normal

Does anyone know what reasons it can be behind ones kid having problems to pronounce l and r ? the teachers come saying she cannot pronounce them and show signs of speech pattern problems

Kids having speech delays while adults who used the time to learn new languages have added several to their own language depot 😂. The kids in my community actually talk more since they spend time outdoors our playground and parks so they are distanced but interactuve. Probably parents not talking to the kids which is a problem even before the pandemic, just shoving gadgets in front of them and not interacting with them. 😂

It has nothing to do with the pandemic...you have to play and interact with your child. If still, after this he/she is not speaking than you must go to therapist
The pandemic absolutely has played a part. Yes you need to talk to your kids but also the limited interaction with other kids because of the pandemic has caused delays in child development.
@@itsallhappenedbefore1908you do realize many people wore masks and were afraid to transmit the virus ? Seeing the same person talk is not the same as seeing others, even going to the store and watching others speak, child development is way more then just being with a caregiver

I will say it did help us as parents figure out how to better incorporate language on our toddlers level through basic day to day tasks. Now she is saying 50+ words. But now her teacher keeps saying she may have autism and we already have an evaluation scheduled for next month..yet she really doesn’t have any symptoms of autism. Idk 🤷♀️ now they are trying to load her up with therapy before we even know for sure if autism is a factor 🤯 and the goal was speech… speech has improved.
@@Sam-pg9hr Autism is the new fad (like ADHD when I was growing up). They just needed a new cash cow. I acknowledge there are some children with legitimate need. A friend's adult cousin is autistic and is nonverbal. BUT.... they're taking this too far with too many children. They need to focus on the children that genuinely need treatment.
My baby 😢couldn’t talk even at 4 he couldn’t express his feelings and so aggressive but meeting Doctor Isibor on his RU-vid channel changed everything now Joseph can speak better and so lovely 🥰 😊😊

Howdy! My 2-year-old daughter watches cartoons on TV but also plays, she has interactive toys and we play with her. We don't put it on the phone almost at all, and in the car it has a tablet with a holder in the headrest that we only use in emergencies (rarely). She recognizes a lot of things, responds to names and is very active, but not talking yet. She babbles on her "tongue", takes us by the hand if she needs something, and rarely utters words. Should we be worried?
It wouldn't hurt to get her evaluated. I think as parents we fear what might be the outcome, but we owe it to our kids to put their development over our fears. Best of luck
Not only the phone of tablet Affect their speech, also spending too much time in front of the tv.. Even tv turned on , without the child staying in front of It, But around It , can be a cause of delay
@@GS-pq4po bullshit my first son was in front the tv on tablet and didnt have any other kids around to play with and he was perfectly fine I do believe something more sinister is going on. Theres way to much kids having speech issues and autism symptoms lately past few years and I think hospitals can be in on it 🤷🏽♂️
Please do the evaluation now I have 3 kids an with my daughter I thought it was fine because my older son didn’t talk much until 3 1/2 an it’s not better, we’ve been waiting an waiting because the evaluations are delayed, doctors an specialists where I live 6 + months to get in to see them. I regret so so much waiting 🤦♀️ just sign up now an if it works out you cancel I’m praying to get her evaluated in the next few weeks, we wrote to the school district in June an it’s January due to Covid there is no 45 days max allowed to have it done, that was previously enforced upon the districts because they just do not have enough ppl. So our pediatrician finally stepped up an we see a neurologist next week because the neurologist was not available until June. They want my daughter to see neuro because her eye sight is effected and she has glasses (she won’t wear) and she babbles am babbles and shows some autism traits but she also takes your hand, gives hugs, etc. So we don’t know what’s causing her issue with speech but she only says a few things and rarely where it makes sense. I am sure your child is fine and will be fine, but I am just saying with the waits don’t risk it I never thought this would ever be an issue 💕
