Why don’t you stencil a cool design on the risers so you don’t have ever worry whether it’s going to come unglued.

You need to prime plywood to get the wallpaper to stick to it - either an acrylic paint or a coating of PVA glue (it's called Unibond here in the UK) - the "grain/texture" of plywood is your problem.

Bed risers may be a quick and cheaper fix to raise the sofa up a bit then buying longer legs. Love your fix for the stairs. You always amaze me😁😁

You might want to use some Restore on your wood doors and door frames to freshen them up.

Agree with all the comments about risers on the couch, restore a finish on the wood trim. That see through cabinet above the peninsula really should come out, storage it provides will end up looking cluttered, and it blocks visual appeal of kitchen. You guys have worked so hard!

I would bet your sectional had legs at one time. There may already be existing holes to utilize. Rug really ties it all together. Nice color choice. Good luck on the final touches.

Backer board is used in bathrooms. What you are calling backer boards are called risers. Stairs are risers and treads.

You can buy risers to put under your sofa legs to raise it up to be higher than your new ottoman -- which I love by the way!

As you’re walking around upstairs I heard that the floors are super creaky. Are you guys going to address that? I swear you said that the downstairs might be rented out by a long term renter. They would NOT be happy if every time someone was up using the air b&b they could hear every step they take. You’d definitely have an unhappy renter on your hands.

We had a couch that was too low and we added blocks to the feet to raise it. Just a thought.

You can also get some type of risers or legs put on the bottom of your couch

I have wooden bed risers that I bought in a catalog which would work to raise your couch if you decide that is what you would like to do. I think they are four inches in height and very sturdy.

Using a heat gun to warm the glue may help the stickers stick better.

It's sad to see her make the stairs look so cute knowing they end up getting torn apart.

Not sure wallpaper is the best product for risers especially with guests coming in and out with suitcases etc..those backs take a lot of ‘hits’ See how it goes and maybe consider putting stained/top coated wood there which may be more durable for the long haul😊😊

if those stickers come off the luann, if it were me, I would invest in some adhesive spray///spray both the luann and the back of the sticker, let it dry and then press them together because it will NEVER come off lol

You could put taller legs on the sectional to fit the ottoman better. Amazon has a great selection!

The round thingy the fabric is quite busy compared to everything else. The colours look like would be more suited to a house near the sea. I like what you did to the stairs. Bet you can't wait to finish Airbnb feels like you've been this a while. All the best to you two. 🌻

You guys r very hard workers. You have accomplished soooooo much…do you make your living flipping furniture or like most remodelers have a loan and then pay it back from your Air B and B?

It seems clear to me that the sofa sectional is missing legs. I have never seen it sit so low on the floor.

Make sure u get extra insurance that covers the home for air bnb renters. Some ppl we know had a very nice woman with good references stay at their Long Island house. She let her son stay there by himself & he had a big party. Insurance didn't cover it. Luckily the woman is covering the cost of the new floors. Some of the items on the list they were going to update anyway next year so they didn't charge her for those items.

Why not add some different feet to the couch? Just a thought...

Why you put curtains half way to the floor? Would look better if they are long. That would also hold them down. Have you consider collabing with an interior designer? You need that.

I'm confused. Is it financially better to put this on AirBB instead of renting monthly, especially if you're renting a house to live in?

I wonder what your short term rental market looks like out there? WE converted most of our airbnb's vacation rentals to furnished, transitional housing and our occupancy rate has doubled. Look into it guys.
