@anidiotmakesthings I know, the Native Americans are goofy to be talking about them in word and ancient drawings. Another goofy guy was the explorer Leif Erikson writing of large hairy wild men who towered over him and his men in 986 AD.
Enigma. That's the word that comes to mind when discussing BIGFOOT, folklore, or paranormal activity. @yourthaiguy boldly states "Your Bigfoot investigations are HANDS DOWN the best on television. No one comes close." This is a subject weaved with inferential evidence, ergo, cliff hangers. The Follow-up recommended by @alderringer8816 on some the shows may be better as conjecture in the comments below with Survivorman's fanbase. I was thoroughly entertained by the Bigfoot investigative series. I confess to having binged it. If Les believes that there's more he can add to the series, any of his series', I look forward to the quality and tenacity of his production. I think that there's potential to expand Les' repertoire with a historical tribute series- still within the solo-Survivorman wheelhouse. In American history, couriers for the Pony Express and Wells Fargo were the hearty men who pioneered the infrastructure connecting settlers to the world they knew. Mountain men and French fur trappers were survivors who braved the elements. Native Americans of north American plains and mountains were survivors. Petroglyphs in Celebration Park, Idaho and geographical fossils depict a stone age era of hunting/gathering survivors. Evidence of ancient communities are abundant. How did they survive? Les has given pioneer heritage a nod several times in his previous productions across the globe. I believe a historical tribute series could be a natural culmination of his previous work.
@@alderringer8816 Left us hanging? If he had definitive proof you think it wouldn't be leaked before the show comes out? I think it's great entertainment even if he doesn't find anything..
Folks!!! Tell your ma, dad, grandpa, grandma, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, sisters, brothers, your baby mommas however you got to tell to subscribe!!! Get this man to a million
I watched it once. Interesting but nothing different than anybody else's channel and still no real proof. Yes I believe but still waiting on unquestionable proof
Hey Les! I was first introduced to you by my dad when i was 7 years old. I remember he would pick me up from school, we'd go home, and watch survivorman together, and 13 years later, I'm still looking forward to everything you do. I'm really hoping you hit the 1 million milestone sometime soon, so I can sit down with my dad and watch survivorman with him again, just like when I was a kid. For now, though, I'm really looking forward to the shows and music you will be releasing this year! Thanks for being such a big impact on my childhood!
I also used to watch Survivor-man with my dad. My dad always said that Les was the real deal, and I knew it was true. Loved the days where my dad picked me up from school, to come home and watch some survivor-man, then go outside and eat some fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries off the bushes lol Those were the good old days
You're music is beautiful. Iam native American of Canada first nation's indigenous medicine man descendant and you're music is very heart-felt, keep them coming.
When I was a teenager i witnessed the Minnesota iceman and was convinced we have been lied to. Bob Gimline does a fantastic documentary on the creature.
I would love to see Ray Mears and Les Stroud do some wild harvesting, survival episodes, and bigfoot stuff. The 2 best survival guys together, doing their craft.
Love ya, Les! My dad, my brothers, and I, all used to gather around the TV to watch your show, after school! My dad would pick us up, and we would come home, turn on Survivor-man! He always said and knew you were the real deal, compared to all the other charlatans, who merely tried to copy you. Still are the real deal. I remember when Survivor-man first came out, it was a one-of-a-kind show. New, fresh, something that hadn't been done before. An untapped market. You were the first, and you did it the best. You didn't lie, you didn't cheat. My dad, my brothers, and I, were all so excited because it was something so new! We had already loved the idea of being outdoors-man, and survivalists. I honestly wish I could go back to one of those days, back to when both my brothers and dad were still around, before drugs ripped us apart. Like I said, those were the good old days. Stay healthy Les, and your music sounds great! Hope to see your work for decades more to come. Already been a fan for 2 decades, give us another 2 at least!
I think a Survivorman Product Reviews series would be a fruitful series with all of Les's experience, his recomendation would be weighty, even music equipment reviews too, experience speaks volumes.
I just listened to your music sampling..I love it..soothing..nice scenery..I love the outdoors also..T.Y. for all you do including Bigfoot searches...I've been interested in Bigfoot since the 70's when I read the biography the early sightings..T.Y. Mr. Stroud for continuing the search..😊
I really want to hear what your Portland trip entailed. You said you weren't ready to tell us, and you may never tell us. But I wonder if you're ready yet?! Or maybe you have a link to where where you talked about it?
Love this show. We've had 3 sightings in Connecticut, 2 of which were right in our kitchen window. My sister was washing the dishes and suddenly started screaming. We all came running. She said she saw a gorilla look in the window at her and grimace, or show it's teeth. From that point on, my Dad made us keep the garden hose turned "on" and kept right near the kitchen door. It came back a few nights later, again scaring my sister. This time my Dad (82nd Airborne Paratrooper, Bronze Star winner) ran outside and sprayed it with the hose. It lunged at him, then went back in the woods. After this, my Father bought a rifle & we kept it by the kitchen door for the rest of that Summer. My Mom, the Peacemaker, started leaving fruits & vegetables on a stump near the woods, and sure enough, it came back, one time punching the house, breaking the vinyl siding. I thought I was going to get blamed for this. The 3rd sighting was at our campfire in those same woods. Some rocks were thrown at us around the campfire at night. We thought it was some troublemakers, so we all opened fire on that direction with our BB Guns. Then one of the youngsters stiffened up and started screaming & crying that he saw a "monster" in the light of the fire, so bad we had to walk him home. We've had other instances such as gifting at the house, small trees uprooted and shoved back in the ground upside down with the roots exposed at about eye level. Only recently, I'm reading this may be their signal for food in the area. Interesting this happened in Connecticut, not British Columbia or Siberia, but in New England.
In central and southern Connecticut, near larger tracts of Watershed land was where our sightings where (3). Please bear in mind this was quite many years ago. My sister still recalls seeing a gorilla in the kitchen window (twice, it came back) and I remember my Father, in typical 82nd Airborne Paratrooper fashion, running outside and spraying it with a hose, which caused it to lunge at him. After that, he bought a rifle & we kept it by the kitchen door for that Summer. Amazing, this was not in Alaska or Tibet, but right in Connecticut.
20 years of Survivorman does deserve to be a big year for you and your fans. Great to see things are coming! I wonder if anything special will happen on October 13th...
Enjoy your shows and especially your objective perspectives! As a lifelong natural herb user, I find the Wild Harvest show fascinating. Plus, I do love real bigfoot content. Thank you, Les!
I always thought about your time that you spent in the Canadian forest with your wife, and that you were probably jamming and writing songs the whole time! Now that's life! Started playing guitar last year, so I can share the fun!
Yes please! More Survivorman Bigfoot! Been a fan of your work since the very first series of Survivorman aired! Appreciate your honesty and integrity in all that you do. Your Bigfoot work is the best! Keep up the great work! Salute from Chatham, Ontario! 🇨🇦
I subscribed to you yesterday and it was you and you alone that compelled me to subscribe with your Bigfoot vids, if you have already managed to get 778 thousand to subscribe you can do it 222 thousand more times. Believe in yourself, you are Les Stroud, you’ve got this!!!!
I will turn off my adblocker and watch the next 10 episodes of Survivorman Bigfoot S2 so many times you can do an S3 off my ad revenue alone, holy lord Les please please please. Your shows are so legit because theyr're NOT FAKE, and brother we love you for it!
Man I have been dying for more bigfoot content since day one so can't wait for the new content. But les, if you can my brother please finish out the directors commentary on the rest of the original bigfoot series to hold us over lol. I have been wanting a commentary on the hidden world episode for a year now.
I've loved Survivorman ever since I first saw it on Discovery when I was a kid, and I've come to love Wild Harvest since discovering this channel too (some of my favorite parts of Survivorman were always Les preparing food using whatever he could find or catch, so Wild Harvest is like that on steroids and with a professional chef to give a less survivalist-oriented take on the kind of foods you can prepare from wild edibles and game - and honestly I never knew that so many wild plants could be used so well in gourmet cooking). So glad to hear that more is coming! And I might just have to give Survivorman: Bigfoot a try too. Gotta give the new albums a listen too!
I love seeing the likes roll like an odometer as I watch this video. Everyone needs to be a subscriber. Have your friends, their friends, and their friends all subscribe. Les, I love your open mind approach with your productions. You uniquely pioneered the man & nature genre as a a one man team, and to my knowledge, this approach has not been duplicated. It had to be difficult at times, but the rawness was and is captivating. Spread the word people. Let's get those subs to one million and enjoy the reward of more Survivorman! Thanks Les!
The only guy who talks to us like we are not stupid. The biggest hero of mine, him, Noam Chomsky, uh...who else? We do trust you, we love you bro. It's absolutely insane, it is all crap. I'm not a believer, but I found Bigfoot absolutely fascinating. Anything you do is fascinating. Most people you JUST surround yourself with are fascinating. Loved seeing your son on with you and loved the commentary. # Rogue for President or any other black lab you seem to favor :) Your music is beyond-under-rated, even I wasn't expecting much and I feel bad saying that. I know it's lame but please come to New Jersey!
Please bring back the Survivorman series and put it on RU-vid. I think I speak for everyone of your fans when we all say we want another Alaska survivor series. Also I just wanted to tell you thank you because you have been in my life since I was about 15 years old I’m 30 now. And you have been an inspiration in my life and me and my wife are moving off the grid in Alaska deep in the wilderness so that we can truly be free from all the political, bullshit and crime and drugs that are ravaging my state in Kentucky. Thank you for showing me that there’s mortal life and social media and working every day nature is my true happy place. my name is Nathan and I just want to say thank you Les
