CENTERPOINT is lying about its outage maps. Our street has no power and we aren’t shaded on the map. We’ve called and waited on hold forever. Finally, the get on phone and admit that they are aware of multiple areas on the map that haven’t updated. I’m so sick of these peoples lies. They need to call in more outside help. It’s toooooo hot! The heat index is over 100!

They have help from all surrounding states...stop with all the useless complaining. They have enough to do without responding constantly to the same questions...power will be restored when it is restored and no amount of complaining will hurry the process.

@@rickss69 looks like Rick from Centerpoint is here. That’s right folks. Stating the obvious has always been a favorite of Rick ever since he was wee little boy dreaming of someday managing a group of other losers at an energy company like Centerpoint.

@@rickss69they had help from surrounding states and were still unprepared. Centerpoint does not deserve to be in charge of our electricity because they have shown time and time again that they are always reacting and never being proactive. Stop boot licking.

I tried to keep my wife calm and reminding her it’s 2,000,000 people. I blame Centerpoint for being unprepared but I think they’re on the right track with all the help they’re getting

It's the same drill that has been used for decades. All surrounding states utilities respond to other's outages.

Help? Their help has been interviewed by local Houston news and have shown that they don't get work orders until 11a.m. and the majority of trucks in their staging areas never leave those areas. So what "help" are you referring to? All Centerpoint has done is burden other providers without actual justification.

Hurricane a "basic" storm" - WOW. Yes, they are frustrated but that does not excuse gathering in crowds around line crews - most of whom have come into Houston from places 100's of miles away to help - and shouting abuse, curses, throwing bottles and rocks -- all to get the power on quicker? No wonder the world is such a mess - too many places where civility and love of neighbor no longer exist.

We've now been without power for 144 hours. Aka - (6 days) and still to this very second @ 4:17pm STILL with no power.... This sickens me to the core......

I know, why didn't the Billionaire Energy owners at Center Point and the Texas Government not update the grid to handle this, cut themselves off from other states and vote to defund any tax wealth for the infastructure. Oh wait. You were blaming Americans who are dying from the heat... Sadley you blame the wrong people. How would they prepare?
