It's great, hope more people find out about it now.

Great mod, but feels quite empty in the kirsii map in where there's so many settlements that would have to be taken to even develop as well, hope in time there'll be more factions to mitigate that

I think from reading the Steam forums there will be a big update next year. So far all updates have been save game compatible but next year i think we'll see more factions, it is a massive map though, no idea exact number of regions.@@zakback9937

I loved it in Rome Total War classic

I actually never played it in the OG Rome, too busy playing EB and RSII/III RTR Platinum and Extended Cultures but i did know about it. It's great so many mods are out now for RR.@@vitoanania6042

CA going out of business might be your best hope for getting a M2TW remastered. The IP could be purchased by another company that might actually give a damn about the series.

I hope they do, for the reason of modding only. It is very hard or impossible to install new mods in M2 due to latests patches and updates (for me)

Definitely understandable. That's why I have the regular and large maps for Chivalry. I think the bigger maps work better for the medieval era personally

Absolutely that's what i thought, i had just looked directly at Rome before hitting the end turn button, there was no plague, no enemies in Italy and i had a spy close enough i could see the Family members in the city, so i was shocked 1st event message was SPQR Destroyed. It did happen with the Julii also in vanilla RR right when the game came out as i was playing Brutii that time, and the Julii had many settlements but just died out. Oh i really want to do a Global conquest, haven't done 1 of those in any TW in many years but i'll wait till the next major update of the mod. There's so many mods just for RR someone could base an entire channel just on those now i think.@@GudeaTW

@@GudeaTW Sadly Suppanut doesn't seem wanting to add armored horse archers to Bactria? At least he hasn't in XC5. Real pity, they were my favorite Bactrian unit in Europa Barbarorum.

@@GudeaTW I like mods which improve vanila experience. I know some people love new mechanics or some kind of hardcore elements, but for me they usually seem unnatural. And this mod gives exactly what I like in mods. It provides vanila exp but makes it much better because of the map and units. Units in this mod are just incredible! They look cool, vanila-stylized and realistic at the same time. The special thing I like in them is that hoplites dont have the phalanx ability anymore, which makes playng as greeks very refreshing. And many more cool stuff!

Hey that's fair. I personally don't prefer the obvious color coding, but a lot of people do so I understand why it's so important for this mod to have it (a lot of mods don't)

@@GudeaTW OK, but just for solidarity a submod without color coding would be nice 👌 I wish I knew how... maybe that takes incredible amount of work. I wonder how many people prefer color coded units. A poll might be interesting 🤔
