Total War Pharaoh is finally getting the map it deserved (at least) upon launch. Gudea Patreon: / gudeatw Support the Channel: / @gudeatw Gudea Discord: / discord #historicaltotalwar #totalwar #totalwarpharaoh #egypt #hatti
Nice to see you back! I don't know why they didn't go slightly more east. Elymais was an key enemy of the Mesopotamians at the time. Could have been more dynamic, now the focus of the campaign is still around the Aegean.
Nice to see you a gain Gudea, not just me but my girlfriend missed you (and your voice) so much! She was asking me so often where is "Mr. Hello Everyone" and "when he will return back, did he put up a new video already?"
Glad to see you posting this? I have to say when the reveal was dropped I felt quite excited and vindicated, I frankly never expected to get this map but now it's basically perfect. I have a few small quibbles with it, but for the most part it's now looking really good.
Welcome back. Missed your videos man. Rise of Persia submod just got released on Steam if you wasn't aware. Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds promising.
I'm so glad you said what many people refuse to believe, that 'Pharaoh' needs naval battles, even if they're "simplistic" like in S2 vanilla. And I hope (even if we don't get map editor tools) that 'Pharaoh' gets the modding tools that R2 and Attila have to make a plethora of different time era mods like Sargon, the old Babylonian Empire, Neo-Assyria, etc. Although I feel like if CA made any official campaign DLC, it shouldn't go further than that because the inclusion on the Median Empire would require all of Persia which would expand the map quite a lot and I don't think they'll do that. (if we do get map tools, imagine mods set during the Indus civ or Shang dynasty, or a map of near-solely Sumeria set at the beginning of civilization circa ~3500BC 😁)
Side by side with the map extension, the most (potentially) interesting new feature is a dynastic mode. I imagine it as a more traditional approach to the game, while keeping the current characters mode at the same time, for whom appreciate that part of Pharaoh. Similar to what there is in 3K (romance and chronicals) and Troy.
Hi, Gudea! I am really excited for the Pharoah Total War update! Maybe I can be inspired from it for my Bronze Age Mod for Rome Remastered. I also sent you a message. -Atreus :)
There he is, still alive While Pharaoh getting additional content is cool, my excitement has already died, and there are alternatives to get the bronze age on monitor. And while the map is big, still going to feel like warhammer, which I personally don't enjoy. I guess it's hard to re-hype something that's already splashed in the toilet. Also, love the answer there. Water problem in total war, "the solution would be.. navies"
hi gudea new fan of channel, video suggestion on the rise of persia mod for remastered. and question for what is in ur opinion the most histroicaly accurate total war mod for remastered ( i know its EB my fav) but would like to hear from u opinion
hi gudea, i have a few off topic questions, one is there a way to get rome total war one on mac and also how to get, and then getting the eb mod, im currently playing eb on rtw remastered absolutely love it.
currently the sea peoples are only dangerous to half of the factions, suppiluma, amenmesse, tausret, irsu and seti can sit it out, only repelling minor invasions and taking control of the weakened factions on the coast
But there are no playable naval battles. You are correct, I should have been more clear there. I still don't quite get the mechanic yet, but I'm interested to see it in action.
man this should have been a thing from the getgo, i hate companies making a game and then giving it to us bit by bit for an exorbitant amount of money wtf
Indeed, at least in this case the price was reduced (and refunds given for the difference for those who had already made purchases) and all the dlc made free. But again, this should have been in the base game
Christ, why not just add navies to the game instead of 'fast travel' over the sea? You don't even have to implement naval battles (although they could if they wanted to - isn't this still the same engine as Rome II?). Navies could just act purely as a means of transport as they did in Medieval, Rome, Medieval II, etc. So stupid.
This isn't game about Greece, this is about Egypt and Mesopotamia. Greece is there just to have more cultures and factions. Otherwise the game would be pretty empty. I wish they add Iran and Caucasus at some point.
@Milos596 Rome total war is not about Greece it's about Rome and it's conquest of gaul. the rest of the factions are there so the game would not feel empty
