The idea of echo echo just screaming into a phone is hilarious.

Hot Take: There should have been more episodes of aliens doing their own thing either intentionally or by instinct like Ghostfreak and Big Chill.

Gwen was constantly and illogically nerfed throughout the entire series because she's as strong as Ben, if not stronger, and they didn't want her to outshine Ben. We got to see her cook an entire army of DNAliens on her own but a couple of episodes later she somehow can't fight a bunch of forever knights on her own

Hot Take/Opinions: #1 After rewatching the series and finishing the rewatch a few weeks ago, I think the young ben episodes in Omniverse were some of the best in the whole Omniverse series #2- I really wish they made a continuation of the series with Ben, Gwen and Kevin exploring the galaxy like they hinted at the end of Omniverse #3 I think the time travel and whole time war arc was the best arc in Omniverse. #4 in the reboot series, I think Yuri Lowenthal voicing Vilgax was pure genius

"Ben 10 VS. The Negative 10" could've been better if they developed Cooper more, had more focus on the villains and their cooperation, included villains like Dr. Victor and Kevin, not include the sub-plot of Ben and Gwen fighting over a ticket, and made the villain defeat much more satisfying then the Upchuck thing.

Hot Take: Alien Force was far too quick to establish the status quo of its group dynamic. Stuff like adding kevin to the team as a good guy and the blooming relationship between gwen and kevin needed a longer stretch of time to be believeable.

For another of my hot takes, I feel like Ben's girlfriend in Omniverse could have worked if they established that she had changed from OG and was sorry for wanting to make Ben like a pet. To show that she had changed. I feel like it could have been a really cute arch for her, it would give her something to do in Omniverse, and it would be a good way for people to like her. I love the idea of Ben's girlfriend to love both him and his alien forms, and sometimes in the show, it does work, unfortunately, in the actual show, that's not how it works and I am sad.

Hot Take: The Rooters arc is good. Aside from the retcon, it is a very well-written story, the darkest plotline of Omniverse, and is very much a story tied to the characters while still maintaining the feel of the series. People just need to give it a chance. Also, about the retcon: I prefer Kevin as a mutant instead of an alien because it's more interesting. But I think OV's retcon was unnecessary because retconning a retcon just caused more mess. It is one of the three retcons that makes no sense anyway. (The others are Plumbers retcon in AF and that garbage planet named Primus)

Hot Take: Ben's role as a character and the role of the Omnitrix in universe are really really diminished when Ben has access to fusions or ultimate forms. The themes of the whole franchise shine brightest when Ben sticks to just transforming into different beings from across the Galaxy. - The main reason for the creation of the Omnitrix is to allow it's user to walk a mile in the shoes of any other being in the Galaxy. - Whoever bears the Omnitrix can live the life of any other sentient being and, as such, they become a symbol that unites all species. - Ben can be a member of any planet, or any alien race, and as such he is a living force for peace between all beings. - The ultimatrix and the biomnitrix give Ben a power boost and are good for punching things, not to mention they're good at selling toys, but if Ben is turning into artificial beings that don't actually exist in the universe, there's no point for Ben to be turning into aliens. They're just lab created monsters. - When Ben uses made up forms created by some device, he is no longer a living symbol of unity and the Omnitrix loses all it's thematic value. The coolest thing about Ben having the Omnitrix is that he understands the value of every transformation inside it. Every form matters because every form is a real alien race somewhere in the universe. Ben doesn't just become a Tokustar or a Celestialsapien every battle to win it easily, because he knows the value of each transformation. --- Ultimate forms and fusions are cool, but they're not Ben 10. They don't capture the importance of the Omnitrix from a thematic perspective and they paint Ben as a hero who hits things hard, not a living representation of peace and understanding who has the capacity to unite all life.

Hot take: Omniverse should have ended in Ben's 18th birthday.

I enjoy these hot take videos, and considering the hot takes I already sent I’m gonna think of some big ones: 1: I feel it’s extremely lame how Alien X is just strong enough to do basically anything, and while I liked the downside a bit with the agreement stuff removing that makes alien x just a lame desu ex machina 2: Ultimate Echo Echo shouldn’t have been just an ultimate alien and should’ve just replace normal echo echo 3: I really like how Atomix was done in OV making him have a weird announcer voice and superhero body 4: I feel Ben 10’s alien designs being primarily bipedal is pretty lame considering how making aliens could allow for some interesting and wild designs (ex: Stinkfly Wildvine OG)

Got some ideas for hot takes: -Terraspin is the best new alien during the Agregor saga: Don't know why, I just love him. -Love the idea that Albedo returns with more Últimates in Omniverse. -Rook is the best thing that happened in Omniverse -All of Ben romances feel forced. -Everyone should at least give the Multi part episodes of Ben 10 Reboot a shot. -I would kill for having more Ben 10/Generator Rex crossovers.

Hot Take: wildvine and ghostfreak were heavily underused in the OS although when you think about it they had pretty broken abilities

Hot take: 1. Gwen's, and Charmcaster's magic is better in OV, and classic than in Alien force, and Ultimate Alien 2. Echo echo's wall of sound is one of the best moves Ben has ever done with his aliens 3. The omnitrix is secretly a troll in disguise 4. Goop is a really cool alien

While I agree the old ben 10 logo looked cool, on your point about not understanding why it was changed it's actually quite simple to explain. The omnitrix in the zero is alot more easy to recognise as the ben 10 brand and that is key when marketing a show. It makes complete sense to change the logo to something that could be understood in a glance.

Personally I'd like it if gwen and max in the reboot had something special to them instead of basically being the ones to tell ben about the moral of the episode

Hot take1: Khyber is the most underrated villian of the franchise.He has a cool and amazing personality. Hot take2: Ben shouldn't have tried to kill Kevin that makes him a dull character to me instead Ben should've tried to save kevin from his mutation. Hot take3: vilgax was highly nerfed in alien force.He got beaten at almost every episodes in the cheapest way.

Piers shouldn't have died/Had an actual death scene. I literally didn't realise he died until Kevin said he did in weapon 11.

Hot Take 1: Alien X is the most powerful character in fiction. Hot Take 2: All Ben 10 shows are equally good. The reboot is slightly lower. Hot Take 3: The classic continuity needs another continuation.

Hot take 1: Ben 10 is one the most powerful Character in all TV Shows/Anime. Hot take 2: There should be another New main Ben timeline *NOT REBOOT* TV show where Ben, Rook, Kevin and Gwen travel the Universe and goes on Adventures. (Which follows up what happened at the end of Omniverse) Hot take 3: Ben 10 Alien Force and Ultimate Alien Had the best Art Style out of the bunch but each show wins a certain category of it being good.

Hot take: Retcons aside, the Rooters arc is one of the best in Omniverse, it offers great character development for Kevin and it even does some things better than the Ultimate Kevin arc (like Ben not immediately giving up on Kevin upon seeing him change sides)

Hot take: I don't like how every Omnitrix after the original looks easy to remove. The original series really played it up as being part of his body that can't be removed, while the others look like they could be slipped off, especially since two of them are just wristwatches.

Ben 10 Alien force is the best series, it had the best alien lineup, the highbreed were the best villains and they had interesting premise, it introduced tons of good characters, the only bad thing about it is the lackluster third season, also I like the alien force intro more than the original series intro .

Hot take: Big chill is best of the alien force aliens and Omniverse design while bad didn’t ruin him

Hot Take: Fasttrack is actually good. I understand that he is basically useless since Ben has faster aliens but that doesn’t mean he’s bad. His design is simple, but cool. His humanoid body makes his running scenes look superb since I love seeing speedsters like Quicksilver and the Flash running. And his voice fits his design. I don’t think he deserves the hate.

Hot Takes: #1. Omniverse was best at world building and arcs. UAF had some really dull arcs and its world building was a lot more hit or miss. In an effort to make the Ben 10 universe feel bigger UAF made it feel smaller and more boring. #2. The original series was the best show. UAF is amazing but over praised. #3. Rebooting Ben 10 was and still is a better idea then making a Ben 10k show. #4. The Ben 10 reboot and original series had some of the most creative fight scenes and uses of Ben's powers. UAF and Omniverse's fight scenes aren't nearly as good in comparison.

2:30 If they wanted the smoothies for the contimelia they should have made them to be skurd's vision and Ben sees grandpa max. Insta fix, both sides happy, at least I hope so.

Hot Takes: My opinions on All 5 Shows. Classic: It introduced us to the world of Ben 10, and Ben’s Adventures were always fun to watch and the OG Roster was great particularly Upgrade, XLR8 And Heatblast. And Grandpa Max Was undoubtedly the best character. Sure Ben and Gwens constant arguing was annoying and Ben was some times unbearable, you can kinda forgive that because they are just kids. Classic’s Storytelling was also great with Jess like “Framed” and “Ghostfreaked Out” The stories did have flaws but hey what show doesn’t. Alien Force: Ben’s Evolution from a hot headed brat to a responsible hero was great to experience. And Kevin was The funniest character with his perfect lines and his deliveries. And how he would always turn into a puppy dog when Gwen was involved, and Gwen was just as good as Ben and Kevin, acting as the voice of reason of the three. The AF Roster was great with aliens like Swampfire and Bigchill. And yes Season 3 was well... Something, it did have some good episodes like “Ghost Town” And “Above And Beyond”. And The hibreed were great main Villains. Ultimate Alien: While not as good as the previous 2 Shows, Ultimate Alien stands has its own merits. Like filler episodes being just as good as the story driven ones. Ben’s Ultimate Transformations were awesome Like Ultimate Swampfire and Ultimate Echo Echo, and despite not being used as much as I remember just the concept of bens aliens getting upgraded was so cool to me. And yes a lot of the aliens introduced in UA were just copies of old aliens like Fasttrack And Eatle I still enjoyed them. But my biggest problem with UA is of course the ending and not just because it was a massive waste of opportunity. I personally don’t like how the Forever Knights story was played. I would have preferred someone like Eon. Omniverse: Ok first of While i do think Omniverse’s sillier tone played a part in its down fall. I do still really enjoy the stories Omniverse told. The new aliens were pretty hit or miss with exemptions like Gravattack And Feedback. Malware was my favourite villain being a corrupted version of my favourite species and the Alternate Ben season was great (i don’t remember if it was season 6 or 7) and I love the ending with Ben rapidly morphing between aliens even if Fasttrack, Chamalien, Jetray and Spitter where missing. And I liked how Ben could Ben funny and serious. Reboot/Ben 10 (2016): I think the reboot got to much hate. I like how Ben and Gwen genuinely care for each other and aren’t constantly arguing. Kevin’s struggle with being a Ben Tennyson clone was interesting to watch. And I love the Omni-Enhancements, Omni-Kix and Omni-Naut upgrades I’m not a fan of what they did to upgrade but the other alien redesigns I can get behind even stinkfly. OverFlow, ShockRock And SlapBack where interesting alien concepts and Ben 10 Vs The Universe was one of my favourite movies from the Ben 10 Franchise. And those where my opinions on all 5 series. Don’t know if this is a hot take or not but Ripjaws is the worst alien in the classic series, he does jack all except for the Kracken and Underwater Hotel episodes, both of which are dull to me. The only time they were somewhat cool was when fused with Heatblast, even then, it was because of the underwater fire stuff

Omnivers and classic are most fun shows : alien force is best in continuous a story in 2 season : all ben 10 shows are underrated: ultimate alien is best for balancing everything: ultimate alien and omnivers are best in story and concept: many people like classic because its simple: ben 10 have problem that Ben doesn’t ben always fo for alien that could help him i nohw omintrix give him wrong alien but for example he’s don’t use upgrade against tecadon

Hot Take: Ultimate Cannonbolt is one of the best ultimate aliens. He's the perfect mix between strength and appearance, and the most realistic ultimate alien. His abilites and attire don't change drastically like Ultimate Swamp Fire, Echo Echo, and Humongousaur, but the change isn't too subtle either, like Ultimate Rath(Omniverse), Wildmutt, and Big Chill.

Walkatrout, the Worst, Molestache, and other seemingly “useless” aliens aren’t as bad as people think and it’s cool that there are aliens without significant powers, much like how a human transformation would be

Hot Takes : spitter is one of the most underrated aliens he only shows up once and was able to knock Kevin 11 over a couple of times, ball weevil is practically a copy in the sense of regurgitation

Hot take : Ben 10 always skips on "epic final battles" and uses bullshit shortcuts. See , kevin killing aggregor in like 2 seconds and ben killing dagon in 2 seconds with a sword.

Hot Take: In terms of fantastical adventures and Story telling, OV takes the cake. Don't get me wrong, I love the themes in UA and AF like Stockholm syndrome, maturity, and that Chamalian dude literally begging for death after finding out his family died (Jesus) But Ben LITERALLY traveling back to the beginning of the universe just to witness it's own creation, or Ben prime being wiped out from a time bomb so alternate Ben has to travel back in time and cause the events from the classic series. Or smaller events, like Gravattack creating a black hole due to accidentally warping space and time, or Ben literally recreating the universe, and later going on trial for doing so just for them to canonically explain the artstyle changes, and then break out into an epic Alien X battle. I could keep going on, but yeah. OV just had so many cool stories and plotlines. Also, Reboot Ben 10 could have been way better if 1. They treated season 1 like they did seasons 2-4, and 2, if they either went all in with new aliens or just re-tooled the old ones. As it stands Slapback is the only really interesting NEW Alien in his arsenal and we all know Overflow is just a cleverly renamed Water Hazard

Hot take for me, even though I don't know how the lot of people feel about Rooke from Omniverse but I like him and is a great character and partner to Ben

Humungousaur and Four Arms are used a lot but they aren't "overused" as in they're used more than they need to. Humungousaur and Four Arms just have the most direct powers, the heavy hitters, so like they are useful in most situations.

Hot take: Ghostfreak is more powerful than the show makes it seem and if Ben used it more he could be able to solve most problems with ease. He can turn intangible where he is basically immune to almost everything, in the OG series it was shown that he can makes his hands phase through people and attack their internal organs (episode Ghostfreaked Out, he did it to Thumbskull). Its basically an unstoppable force that can ignore any defense you have, as well as your attacks and not even walls can stop, nor gravity or traps since he can fly. I don't know why he isn't considered one of Ben's most powerful aliens, right up there with Alien X or Way Big.

Hot Take: Ultimate Big Chill never made sense. It's the same level of Ultimate Cannonbolt for me. Hot Take 2: I really liked the Omni Kix armor from the reboot. My favorite upgrade would be omni kix cannonbolt Hot Take 3: I really hated how Ben tends to go for heavy hitters rather than either improvising or using useless aliens to the best of their abilities Hot Take 4: I really hated reboot Ben's arsenal. Most of them really seemed like just brawn only aliens like Rath, Four Arms, and Humongasaur

Hot take: Upchuck is a super underrated alien and is actually pretty powerful compared to a lot of Ben’s other aliens

Hot take: clockwork is bens second strongest transformation since eon was able to vaporize waybig in ua and clockwork has the same powers as eon he should be stronger than waybig

The ultimate alien concept was mostly worthless as most ultimate aliens (canonbolt, waybig, grey matter) just looked like shit and didn’t add any cool features thus I feel like it was a shallow marketing gimmick to try and make ultimate alien stand out from alien force Four arms and stink flys designs after classic just got worse and worse (reboot four arms was fine tho, wish I could say the same for stink fly) Upgrades color scheme was better in the reboot Omniverse’s new aliens are overhated and a fair amount of them are pretty good/alright but get lumped in with the shitty ones

Don’t know if this is a hot take or not but ghost freak as a kid was genuinely terrifying

Hot Take: Young Ben in Forge Of Creation felt out of character and acted more like a generic 10 year old instead of his actual personality

The villains in AF/UA kinda suck for the most part. Besides the DNAliens and maybe a bit Aggregor, most of the villains pose little actual threat besides what they try to convince us they are, like Vilgax isnt even the same person, he talks hella shit and then gets beaten in like 10 seconds

Hot Takes I think: 1. Ben's immaturity is kinda realistic and in my opinion it makes the serious moments better 2. Now in a video by The Ink Tank that stated 5 ways the reboot improved the original, (which is quite old) they mentioned that Gwen and Ben not arguing much was a good change. I think it wasn't because it makes the moments where they work together just that much better

Alright, i've got some, i think. 1. Omniverse was the worst itteration of Ben's character, not counting Season 3 AF or a few UA fillers. Like it was mentioned in the vid, they pushed his immature side way too hard for comedy, when it wasn't funny in the first place, ever, but i feel what made it more jarring was how much they pushed the "Ben gets the wrong alien cuz plot" gag, not only was it present on almost every episode, they went out of their way to add in THREE whole aliens to fit that gag and nothing else(The Worst, Mustache thing, and Walkatrout), i feel we were at a point in the series where Ben would be mature enough to simply use the alien he wants, choosing CLEVERLY, and the plot still aligning to it, without having him spam Four Arms/Humoungosaur all the time, it would be a nice change of pace, and help highlight his growth as a character and growth on his path to becoming 1000, even if a little. 2. Ben should've stayed with Julie, no, i'm not gonna explain myself. 3. Ben should've gotten his Ultimate forms back in Omniverse, be it by taking that rock thing Albedo used, or simply making Azmuth put it on, not only would it be a great way to fix pre-existingly bad designs like Ultimate Cannonbolt and Wildmutt, it could tie into a return of the Ultimate forms that escaped the Ultimatrix in that UA episode, perhaps coming to fight against Malware, Z's Skayr or some even greater foe? And, bonus, this isn't even a take really, but i really wish Ghostfreak got more screentime in Omniverse, it was the perfect oportunity, he's my favorite alien, and he simply has so much potential to be one of Ben's greatest, crap, if you mix in with take 3, you could even have Ultimate Ghostfreak vs Z's Skayr or something like that, who knows.

Hot Take: Ben 10 overused the idea of turning humans into monsters. 1) ghostfreak using the corrodium 2) the highbreed using the Xenocytes 3) the Dagon turning everyone into his minions

I really love season 1 and 2 Ben he mature so much and yes he has a personality we see Ben constantly joke and act goofy a good bit in the first two seasons just wasn't over use like in s3 and ominverse

The human villains deserve more respect animo a human with junk essentially made an ultimatrix that worked on anything.

Hot Take 1: I feel Ben 10 is at its best with Ben having a relatively small pool of Aliens to choose from that are somewhat specialized and have more defined weaknesses. Like, scenes with Stinkfly in the classic series are more tense than say Jet Ray in AF because Stinkfly isn't as fast as Jet Ray or XLR8 or can breathe in space or shoot lasers etc. So when Ben transforms into him, he has to work more and around his weaknesses to succeed and can still naturally fail like if he gets his wings wet. Ditto has the risk that if 1 clone dies, the rest die as well so Ben can't be reckless while Echo Echo can be as reckless as he wants and it's cool if some clones die. If you give Ben lots and lots of aliens, then some will start to feel redundant. Why use Stinkfly, Ripjaws, FastTrack, Terraspin or XLR8 when you have Jetray that can do the job for all of them? Why use Articguana, Amphibian or Ghostfreak when you have Big Chill? Why use Chromostone, NRG, Eye Guy, BenViktor when you have Feedback? These Aliens will get less screentime and it feels odd whenever Ben transforms into them over better choices. Some Aliens may also be too overspecialized like Bloxx. Omniverse also makes Ben way too powerful and OP in a lot of places. Hot Take 2: Ultimate Alien should have just been called "Alien Force Seasons 4-6". UA has a very similar tone, themes, visual style, structure and the same creative theme to AF. Hot Take 3: The Ultimatrix wasn't a good addition from a storytelling perspective. Evolving Aliens just makes the standard Alien more powerful rather than requiring Ben to use his powers more creatively. Ultimate Humungosaur is just a more powerful Humungosaur and has a gun. Ben doesn't need to use him that much differently to how he uses him normally. Same for Swampfire, Big Chill and Cannonbolt. This means that many fights just go with Ben fighting enemies normally then choosing to go Ultimate to win quickly. Which asks the question why he doesn't just use it instantly then?

Hot Take: Feedback never should have been created. Imagine how much more impactful it would have been if malware killed one of the original ten. I’d say Heatblast. I’d like to think that by the time of Malware’s introduction to Ben, Ben is a PRO at heatblast, similar to how strong he was as diamond head in the vilgax returns episode. So if Heatblast was killed, not only would we feel AWFUL, but it would make sense why Ben would fall into such a big depression.

Zombozo also has the Joker’s ability to make much more powerful characters afraid of him because “crazy”

I really disliked how they made it so ben couldn’t do anything by himself in omniverse, he was just getting embarrassed while also getting his ass kicked left and right, till rook came to help him

Ultimate Alien should have gone harder and more out there in terms of the ultimate alien's designs. More than half of them are just pallet swaps of their original counterparts, like Big Chill and Cannonbolt, but then you have the ones like Swampfire and Echo Echo that have very different designs from their baseline counterparts to really help them stick out. Basically they should have gone the Echo Echo and Swampfire route for more Ultimate Alien designs.

Hot Take: Ben’s character traits from Alien Force season 3 would have been perfect for Season 1 of Alien Force. The forced immaturity on teenage Ben would have to drastically change due to the seriousness of the Highbreed arc and him thinking Grandpa Max was dead. And for Cartoon Network, kids who watch and love younger Ben due to his bratty persona would probably prefer the logical development of an immature to mature Ben in season 1 and 2 of Alien Force, rather than just “randomly changing” his entire persona from egotistical to polite which they decided to do irl, which basically disconnected season 4 of the classic series to the 1st season of Alien Force. I believe all of this would have boosted viewership for Alien Force, meaning season 3 wouldn’t be tampered with.

Hot Take:Max would be best with the Omnitrix Hot Take 2:Ben should of got Albedo's Ultimatrix 2.o for a Ultimate Omniverse

Hot Take: Ben 10 AF season 3 contains some of the best episodes in the AF franchise (excluding the finale) e.g. Time Heals, Secret of Chromastone and Ghost Town are some of my personal favourites in the entire show.

Hot take: the DN-Alien arc was boring and very slow. Most of the scenes felt empty because the only noticeable sounds in the episodes were when the characters talked. And the villians didn't really do anything. Omniverse was the best animated out of all the versions. Alien x could've had a much more interesting story than we got. Example: Ben dealing with having literal God powers after gaining control of alien x, they could've expanded on the celestial sapiens civilization for a few episodes. Every future Ben we've seen have been a disappointment.

4:04 Agreed, Ben actually felt overshadowed by Gwen and Kevin in terms of personality

Perhaps a spinoff show about Kevin and Gwen's relationship might fail, but I still would love to see a show about Kevin's life starting with him discovering his powers at age 11 and ending with his first encounter with Ben in AF S1.

Hot take - goop is an extremely underused and underrated

I consider "Falls, Falls, Falls" to be one of the most interesting episodes in the Reboot.

Unpopular opinion: UA/AF, while still good, is by far my least favorite, just a little too generic-action cartoon for my taste.

I liked omniverse a lot tbh (maybe because Cartoon Network aired it well, but the humor is a bit much ie the mr smoothie) But I love the personality of Ben in omniverse cuz even with his childlike character he’s really serious but people fall for the “childlike persona” I mean watch the arc with the hunter guy and you’ll see Ben is using his childish nature to get people to look down on him even though original Ben was arrogant because he had the skills to back it up (Not me getting mad just something fans don’t notice without it being told to em)

OS cannonbolt is overused.

I'm from Brazil, so I can't speak with you guys about voice actors or alien names, its a little sad, but i can only talk about the story itself Omniverse should return

I'd think Gwen/Kevin deserve at least a few comic issues

Hot take: in alien force one of the if not the best fight even though it's in s3 is diamond head vs vilgax

i saw someone say that the contemilia were smoothies because the thing that ben holds closest to his heart is being a hero, and since that’s not a tangible thing the contemilia were smoothies since after every big fight, every major event, every universe shaking event ben went to mr smoothies so he started associating being a hero with mr smoothies

I do want a part 3! but I more want a Top 5 Best Alien Force Episodes, Top 5 Worst Ultimate Alien Episodes, and Top 5 Best Ultimate Alien Episodes pls

Hot take: Kevin was better as a villain and should've stayed mutated

Hot take: even though alien force is good, it lost a lot of the charm that OS overall had, and the lack of man of action imput was pretty noticeable

Hot take 1: the reboot is not bad, people say it is because it doesn’t fellow story and it is a lot cartoony and silly but it’s not BAD at all IMO Hot take 2: I did NOT like how Alien x was BARLEY used in AF and UA I understand how hard it is to get control of alien x but Ben should have asked for permanent control of alien x whenever he transforms into him Hot take 3: I do NOT like that they brong back humugasaur, rath, and jetray in the reboot and I did not like Omni kix armor “ on humugasaur it looks okay” but the reboot is still not bad. and I also do NOT like Dee Bradley Baker voicing rath it just sounds like dee is holding back the screaming John DiMaggio did (which I loved BTW)

I absolutely hate how the monster aliens from OS were only used once each in OS, shown in the UA intro but never used again until Omniverse (same goes for aliens like Ditto, Arctiguana, Buzzshock, etc). I’m fine with the renaming of Benwolf/mummy/viktor, but they could have at least verbally mentioned the name Snare-Oh, like they did with Blitzwolfer and Frankenstrike.

Counter argument. The three contemalia being max, Gwen, and Kevin also was a missed opportunity.

Omniverse is my favorite Ben 10 series always has been my favorite and I think gutrot has a nice personality but that might be because he’s my second favorite alien

Man really said Gutrot has no charm when he is literally Columbo

Hot take: zombozo isn’t a ripoff of joker and is the best villain in the whole franchise because his face is so cute just look at him

Ultimate swampfire is a useless alien bc it has the same powers

Hot Take: Omniverse Ben 10K is the coolest future ben by far.

Hot take: Destroy all aliens really isn't very good. Maybe it's due to me not having nostalgic attachment to it, but I rewatched SOTO a month ago and was really impressed. DAA is kinda predictable, the cg is kinda ugly, and the story isn't that good, would rather play cosmic destruction for a better evil way big story.

New aliens In OV should have gotten more stories I like how the ink tank made Atomix into the A species of NRG

Another Hot Take: I don't like how some of the later aliens just seem like stronger versions of older aliens. Echo Echo being Ditto but stronger in every way, Feedback being Chromastone but stronger, and *Eatle*. Also I don't like the concept of Atomix and Alien X, because they're kind of just Instant Win Buttons that take the drama out of everything unless you have a big example of the Worf Effect, like Malgax fighting Atomix.

I also have a few more hot takes. Number 1: The running joke that Ben gets the wrong aliens will NEVER get old. And characters in the shows bringing it up makes it funny. Number 2: I loved that some of the aliens voices had special features to it. More in omniverse: Stinkfly always sounded like he was congested, Feedback and Shocksquach had an electric popping or buzzing whenever they spoke. Heatblast sounded like flames, or charcoal crackling, and so on.

Hot take: the last few episodes of ultimate alien should have featured more of Bens more popular aliens instead of pushing new ones like eatle and fast track. Even though omniverse picked up soon after it ended it would have been so poetic to have the last alien he turns into be his first, heat blast

Ben 10 hot takes? aight Omniverse had a great (even the best imo) art style, the best audio and visual work, good story, and a lot of great ideas, but felt dragged down by jokes, Ben still being cocky after AF season 3, and some poor design decisions also Ben being 16 for seemingly forever was also really annoying
