The Omnitrix turns ben into the most prime version of that race. A good example of this is the Omniverse battle with Four Arms and the Warrior Princess of the Tetramands. It was stated that Tetramand females are genetically more powerful in terms of strength. Regardless of this Ben was able to defeat her to the point that she regarded Four Arms as the only Tetramand worthy to marry her. Tetrax was a pretty cool mercenary, but compared to Diamondhead he would be outclassed. Additionally we saw in the Classic episode featuring the Fountain of Youth, that his aliens do take Ben's age into account, Ben being 5 years younger made his aliens weaker (most noticeably due to the change in appearance), so it make sense that being 5 years older would make his aliens stronger.

@@TmkelshII prime is a relative term though. after all the worlds fastest human isn’t gonna have the same anatomy as the worlds strongest man, ir the smartest, the most flexible etc. it seems the omnitrix focuses on priming certain attributes of the transformation but probably not all of them, other wise ben would practically look unrecognizable to most of his aliens.

The problem with that is you walk a thin line between a useful ability and something that's too abstract, specific or impractical to use in multiple situations. Besides that there is also the issue that all Aliens are their own species. It needs to be somewhat believable for a certain species to exist and so for one to evolve with little to no combat capability there likely has to be SOME reason for it And while that previous rule can be pushed or even ignored at times (looking at you Bloxx) it is still the general rule. Plus technically speaking some aliens Ben has used were NEVER meant for combat but Ben's creativity allowed him to find ways to use them in combat. Things like Cannonbolt's shell which by its own species was only used for defense and to roll away from predators. However Ben turned that into a weapon by ramming into opponents. So the whole situation is more complicated than just giving Ben an alien that is "not based in combat entirely" and even with ALL THAT aside it's not like he doesn't already have a list of them Greymatter Pesky Dust Stinkfly Ditto The Worst Ghostfreak Clockwork Arctiguana Amphibian Etc (I think there's also an episode of Omniverse where Ben is transformed as Gravattack for some kind of peace talk because Gravattack's species is inheritly peaceful? But because the omnitrix turns you into the prime of your species Ben's Gravattack is still extremely strong and a powerhouse of the Omniverse aliens.) So while I understand your take I don't think it's something that is so easy to go about or even necessarily needed at all.

@@chrishansen1842, I understand your point. But I think it's very common for the species to evolve without apparent combat based abilities. Take us, humans, for example. We are not shaped in any way to fight head on and must use technology to make up for it. When it comes to specific abilities I think it shouldn't be too hard to think of something. I'll even do it for my own ideas of "peaceful aliens". The one who can mimic voices: They live on a planet that has very aggressive blind beasts and they use their ability to mimic their cries to make them think they are on their side. The one who can read minds: This one shouldn't be too hard. Reading your opponent's thoughts can grant you a serious advantage. Plus, we already have such an alien - Ampfibien. I think writers forgot that his species can read people's minds. The one who can cook good: They must feed some very dangerous creature(-s) and because of it cooking is something that they literally do for survival. Or maybe they are on the top of the food chain, like upchuck, and they decided to cook their food before eating. The clown one: They use their hypnotic abilities to tame animals and to make prey lower it's guard. They specifically evolved to have flashy colours to attract attention of everything. Ben can even utilize this ability to fight, similar to the cannonbolt. Hypnosis is a serious weapon. Ben 10 universe is filled to the brim with various creatures. You just need a little bit of imagination to make them work.

Yeah i feel so too . That hypes up every episode a little before it even started . That music was gold . Classic was a bunch of singing over and over again . Omniverse had the same problem . But but i think ultimate alien theme was a little dull . Didn't have the spark like AF

Alien Force’s theme was just boring cinematic music. Honestly I prefer the original.

I agree with you man. I always considered ben giving up the omnitrix was because he lost feedback and I don't know why the writers didn't tell us that when the episode aired. Pesky dust has a strong power but I hate his design and voice. And yes dude charmcaster and albedo had so much potential in OV. Charmcaster was literally mental and ill and they just ended up sending her to another realm or something. Albedo had an advantage to beating ben in OV since he had his ultimate aliens and ben didn't.

Ben does indeed say Pesky Dust is dangerous when Kai called him cute. So that does mean Ben is aware of the danger this alien has.

Actually, Feedback's loss was going to be the reason why Ben took the Omnitrix off. The general crew didn't like that, but at least they retained Feedback no matter how much the idea was altered.

Yessss! I love Rook so much! Their dynamic is exactly what he needed And i agree with the Kai part, too. I love Ester (and both Ben's and Esters voice actors are married), but also because Kai was just so badly written and it was so forced. Had they fleshed her out and written her a bit better, maybe it could've worked. But it really didnt. Like the problem in the original series, she liked him because of his aliens, not him. And i overall just hated how Ben and Julie broke up. Not that they did it in itself, but more how it happend. It was beyond lazy writing.

YES! Albedos my favorite “evil clone” of any series just cause of how he sort of flips the script on how it usually goes. He’s vengeful and violent but you also understands his motivations (cept in malgax attacks) and can still see dashes of goodness in him. Not enough for a redemption arc I suppose but enough to make me upset to see his situation get worse pfft.

@@tztmi1083 yeah, for example there was one episode where they were taking care of a massive alien baby, and they're trying to figure out what to do, Gwen angrily says "well do you want to do something about it or keep standing around and arguing?" Ben replies "I'd like to keep standing around" Kevin pops in frame and goes "and I'd like to keep arguing"

Personally if i could design a ultimate cannon bolt I would make him bigger and just straight up filled with spikes but I would take away his ability to effectively control his movement like if he went ultimate cannon bolt he would.have more defence but thanks to the spikes he can't probably control himself making him a bigger threat to pretty much everyone but hey that's just me thinking that the ultimates should of been more of a "OH SHIT" type transformation because whilst they would be insanely more powerful they would also be a bigger threat to everyone else and sometimes Ben himself it would also give a reason as to why he wouldn't go ultimate all that often, replacing stability with more power but also more danger, hence why they would be used in situations where Ben either 1.has no choice or 2. It's either run the risk of damaging things or something bad is gonna happen but like I said that's just me

Logic does not make something inherently good, ORAsh's concept for ultimate cannonbolt made it a bit more interesting.

I wonder if him turning the Ultimatrix made any impact? Because he wasn't hurt when he rolled everyone into a ball despite being against an alien that was made of radiation. The metal also looks similar to that armour.

They should’ve let kevin keep his energy absorbing powers for the most part. It was weird that he only took in solid matter given it works completely different in the OG. Him and gwen were nerfed for sure, kinda a reason why ai liked rook. He doesn’t have any particularly OP powers so you can be otpmisitcally surprised at his competence but understand him being outmatched

@@gustavoferreira4646 I disagree with brainstorm being the best electric alien. I admit he is definitely a good alien and is smart asf but he is nowhere near as powerful as feedback. And I don't consider humanoid alien designs a bad choice

1- always appreciated brainstorm for his intellect than his shocking powers but that certainly comes in hand good point! 2- yes! Wildmutts my favorite of the OG ten. He deserves way more use! 3- i’m guessing there might have been budget issues or just a hard time keeping up with all his abilities, but given the hype yeah your probably right. Still think ultimate kevim was really cool! 4 no opinion? 5- I can respect that notion on one hand, on the other It makes sense for his species to gave energy abilities given they make stars or something? Besides, the more links waybig has to ultraman the better! 6-also would’ve been cool! All the anur aliens could have a really interesting effect on mana I think. The whole systems an anomaly. And mummy’s are associated a lot with curses and such.

Omniverses design for Way Big was great, not as great as the og design but better then the AF/UA design

Corrodium? I think that’s the spelling of it anyway. Kind of funny that you kind of got the root word right describing it but couldn’t remember the name. And Ghostfreak is simply terrifying in nature now that I think about it. He just sort of has a knack for being creepily cunning and naturally an evil genius while he’s not exactly a brainiac personality in his display.

It's probably a respect thing. Pearce was a good friend and a skilled fighter who was murdered during a genocide. Leave it at that and don't bring him up

Chromastone was the first alien in that episode that dealt a blow to Vilgax. He lost because Ben was very very cocky and because Vilgax had the right tool against him. Chromastones abilities were also not properly known by Ben, so he could have won.

I’m not sure if I follow. Wouldn’t albedo in theory still have to adjust to those things with his base abilities i.e turning into different aliens for a temporary amount of time? It sounds to me like they just could’ve gone into more detail into how his POV during transformations and not have to redo his whole character motive.
