This clip features footage of Morecambe and Heysham during the summer of 1970.During the beach scenes, you can see Heysham Head theme park in the background. In Morecambe, the clip begins at Marineland, which stood on the site of the current Stone Jetty.Moored up on the nearby promenade was the 'Moby Dick' which was destroyed by fire a few years later.
