Owning a morgan three wheeler has always been one of my dreams, but they are so rare, and in my country Chile? Uf... even more rare. Now with this new issue... maybe... one day... well, dreaming doesn't cost anything.
Can we get more footage of the car driving with no one talking, no music, just film of someone enjoying the car with the sound of the car. I really want to hear it
Are Morgan deliberately holding back on the engine sound? Much of the charm with the previous model was the sound of the big two cylinder engine. Morgan know that the new 3 cylinder from Ford will have shall we say less exotic sound character. So they try to not make it an issue. At least for now. The old engine could not keep up with the emissions standards. So sooner or later Morgan had to come up with something new. Safety standards may also have played some role in this. All in all I think the new Morgan will be a better car, and a better handling car. And I hope it will be well received
It’s all about marketing… first you fall in love with the new shape of the car and later you will mind less about the engine noise… although that 3 cylinder will sound Great I’m sure….
@@cybersurfer2010 But people buying this stuff want ICE engines that make a roar etc not silent milk float motors that are clinical and lacking in emotion the whole small car industry is doomed 2030 .I know.
Just in time for the apocalypse. Love it. Look forward to driving one through the famine and death until the tank runs dry. Through the nuclear fallout. Good times.
Sweet. What North American Morgan owners want to know is, "When will the new BMW powered PlusFour be available here?". The best thing to do with cash during a period of inflation is to purchase something of value.
I am VERY interested in this vehicle! Help sign us up to distribute these in the United States of America! Absolutely the quintessential of what is needed in British Engineering and American road drivability, similar to Carol Shelby, Moss Motors and AC Weller Brothers Motor Cars! I truly would LOVE to see an ANALOG instrument cluster, however! It would serve more with the classical lines of the vehicle! This is just my opinion...
i would love to own this, but it needs a little more power, at least 150 hp and a 0 to 60 time of at least 6 seconds for it to be attractive to me. Otherwise, I love the look!
@@donaldducko6580 because for me, a sports car needs to have at least a 6 second 0 to 60. That's just my preference. 7 Seconds is just too slow for 2022. I don't think that asking for 150 HP is outlandish or crazy. Otherwise, it is an amazing looking product.
@@aerickvesereu1796Having enjoyed one of these with an instructor in the Morgan Driving Experience, I can tell you that there isn’t much latitude for additional power. The single rear tire limits what you can get to the ground, and the car is not overly stable even with the existing setup. This car is about a pure motorsports experience, a throwback to simpler times that are its own legacy . If you want a performance car, buy a Mustang.
Neat car, lousy commercial. Honestly, how many women do you think will buy this? If you hope to favorably feature this unique car, at least create a plausible scenario. Find someone who can parallel park and change a flat tire.
