As much as I want to see Rick reunite with Michonne, Judith, Daryl, RJ, etc. there'd be something really special about seeing him reunite with Morgan, the man who saved his life right at the start. Meeting Grace and Mo would be a bonus too, considering Rick is one of the few who knows about Jenny and Duane. Seeing Morgan with a family again would be everything to Rick. Edit:...okay, that last part didn't age so well
Morgan stripped that town clean when he was there and it's unlikely that other survivors would just search this random house for useful stuff given the state of the town

The only way somebody would've found it is if it was one of the first houses they searched would be unlikely on it's own
I mean tbh, some of king county’s homes in rick’s neighborhood were supposedly burned down + morgan prolly stripped the places clean + by this time in fear’s series searching cul de sacs would prolly be a waste of timr since they’re all definetly gonna be empty

@@Asferprivate Yeah, but that was before they fired Frank Darabont and then they acted like none of that ever happened. Hell, they can't even be straight what attracts walkers. In some episodes it is the smell, in others it is the movement and in some they bite if you look at it the wrong way. My point is that reaffirming zombie intelligence in the final season makes the variant a deadly opponent. All previous notions of how to kill a walker flies out the window when a "supposedly brittle" walker casually climbs up commonwealth towers like its commonwealth games. Rick and the team relied on this from Second season onwards, so it would make his mouth drop when a walker climbs up a fence, runs up to him with a knife and yells "where the money at bitch".
Not exactly: Rick found it in Morgan's hideout in Clear so he returned at some point between then and his departure from King County with the rifle. Maybe when he moved Duane to the house.
What a great scene, crazy to think about how much time has passed not only in our real world but in the world of the walking dead itself since that first episode with Morgan and Rick. They’ve both been through so much. I can’t wait to see what’s happened to Rick, wtf has he been goin through in canon he’s been trapped wherever he’s at for like 6-10 years I think. It’s a shame we’re only getting 6 episodes of that show that’s not nearly enough to cover everything I feel like they really need to
@@donyelletaber6555 We don't necessarily need to be at the series finale. The final scenes during the one year time jump didn't feature a LOT of TWD cast, so Morgan + Madison's crew could theoretically pop up at the commonwealth right after Pamela is taken down.

All those years, only somebody that does not even know Rick and mentioned his name once in the show. Just curious why there aren’t anyone mentioning the name of Rick in the main show.
Why should there be more mentions ? It would not make sense. Also, it wouldn’t be special when he is mention every season multiple times furthermore, it’s FTWD and not TWD. Hence, the story is all about the survivors in FWTD
I think that if the main show didn't have the six years time jump, would be logical to have Rick mentions, but after all those years wasn't neccesary or logical to be mentioned so much

stopped watch TWD after rick’s departure, but if/when they bring him back, they gotta treat him like an old western legend. I think TWD universe and the western aesthetic would go tremendously well, can u imagine, rick walking into an survivor town at sun up?
He’s already a cowboy. There’s even a kid’s story about him that his kids read(story about the Brave Man). Rick even has his own horse and revolver in the very 1st episode.
It’s more realistic that this 20 something group of people finally separated permanently, them constantly separating but always finding each other again is kind of unrealistic, especially since (before the outbreak) these random civilians were not hunters or expert “trackers” by trade. The Dixon brothers were survivalists, Rick and Shane were cops, but the others?…
Weight is this the same house that they were at in the pilot? Because I thought in Canaan it burnt down and he did that because they couldn’t film at the house again
Uh it's supposed to be the same house yeah, but they had to completely reconstruct the set since it's been 15 years since it was last used. In the Episode Insider they said that they had set photos and stuff to do that with.
@@TWDClips17 Oh it was a neighbor. Always thought Morgan randomly came across Rick house and stayed there because it was vacant until Rick came home from the hospital. Been about a decade since I watched the first episode so memory a little fuzzy.
It’s so confusing with the variant stuff. Originally it was just some walkers aren’t as dumb as others, then they got a different writer or whatever and they basically retconned there being smarter walkers, and now it’s like they retconned their own retcon with the variants -cuz it def seems like Jenny is a variant the way she tries to open the door and stuff-that being said in the post credits scene for world beyond Dr. Jenner says that in America he hasn’t seen anything like the variant walkers they were having in France. I’m so confused
AND that scene with Morgan and the radio was a direct callback to their first goodbye in the show: that's the same promise that they made each other when they parted ways for the first time.
Yeah he went back in 804 King County to finally lay his son to rest. As it turns out, Zombie Son was actually in the attic the whole time. Morgan finally shot him with that gun that Rick gave to him.
Can't believe they made season 1 awesome, then literally turned it to the walking dead with a snorefest season 2 and then Morgan came along and we know the rest
@@glaceonbread1311 had more fun watching paint dry. I don't get it, what's the catch in watching another soap opera with nothing much but a walker every now and then. Both shows first seasons were absolute killers, even the main characters weren't safe, the rest is just a small set, wandering in forests or circlejerking the plot with no payoff. The governor plot was awesome but they wasted it on season 4. Only reason people still watch it is cause they already wasted so much time on it they can't leave for another show.
I disagree I've been a fan since it first aired yes it's a zombie show but it was never about zombies, it was about how an apocalypse can effect and change people, that good people would come to a point where their morals were put in question it was about what human would do to survive. Each show has delivered in that sense. Yes some seasons weren't good and yes it would at times seem like a drama but it's doing it successfully seeing as it had so many seasons and spinoffs.we as fans just have to have faith what the producers pump out will be bangers

And this is how the AMC destroyed one of my favorite TWD characters, Morgan. The British actor who plays Morgan is very good. Morgan was smart and useful, he was one of the best characters and suddenly after Negan lost the war in season 8, Morgan tells Jadis -Ann to come back to Alexandria and then he tells her I will stay here. And we never saw him again!
There should be a 2 hour episode to close the franchise. Morgan, Maggie, Negan, and Daryl seeing Rick. Do the table scene from Season 7 Episode 1 where the group eating together. Negan seeing it from afar. Man, that would be a poetic ending
I stopped watching Walking Dead back when Negan showed up, and I find it absolutely hilarious that Morgan is still alive or any of these og characters. Half the excitement of that show was to see which beloved or hated character was going to die next.
Most of them are dead now. Of the main cast from the first 4 seasons, the only ones left are Rick, Michonne, Morgan, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Judith and Eugene. Tara's gone in Season 9, Rosita died in the series finale as the last causality of the show, Carl died in Season 8. Everyone else introduced in the first 4 seasons are all dead now. Even the later seasons have a lot of main character deaths: Enid's gone, Jesus, a lot of the Alexandrians, Hilltoppers and Kingdomers. Gabriel's still alive and so is Aaron and Ezekiel though.

Morgan had moved to an apartment or something by the time that Rick found him again. That's what burned down. As far as Morgan knew, he never even went back to this house after Duane died.
@@TWDClips17 No this is actually about equal with the final season of TWD. 12 years in after a 7 year time skip. And we know from Here's Negan that 12 years have passed between the beginning of the Apocalypse and the end of Season 10.
@@yettai1995 Eh sort of. Walker Jenny was already long dead, but the loss of his family is a defining part of Morgan's story and his character. He lost Jenny very early into the Apocalypse, before The Walking Dead (the main show, this is just a spinoff) even started. In the very first episode he met Rick Grimes (the original protagonist of The Walking Dead) who had just awoken from a coma, and he taught Rick the rules of surviving in the Zombie Apocalypse. Before they parted ways, Rick gave him that gun to put Jenny down. When Rick returned in Season 3 of The Walking Dead in search of more guns, Morgan had moved out of that house and into some kind of an apartment. He'd already lost Duane and with him, his mind. Morgan puts it best as "I Lose People, I Lose Myself." 12 years later and Morgan still hadn't been able to confront that loss until now. He needed to in order to be the kind of father that his daughter needed: Morgan's guilt over the loss of his old family was holding him back. Even in the end it took his daughter's life being on the line for him to finally be able to shoot Duane with that gun that Rick gave him.
@@yettai1995 That's honestly a shame. For Morgan, this show takes place after Season 8 of the main show, although the current season places the timeline around the final season of the main show. Other characters include Dwight and Sherry of The Saviors. They joined this show in Seasons 5 and 6 respectively. They have a kid now actually, Finch. But poor Morgan is having a really rough go of it right now: while he finally put his son down at the end of this episode, Grace his girlfriend got bit at the end of this episode too and she didn't survive. His daughter Mo rejoined the bad guys who have this philosophy of family is bad in order to run away from her pain and, going into the mid-season finale, they're about to take on a couple of thousand walkers. By hand. That looks like it's gonna go just about as well as it sounds!!! But losing Grace has, from the looks of the preview, driven Morgan back into Crazy Morgan territory again. Which isn't gonna EVER end well for the bad guys!!!

Walking dead with this quality feels pretty soulless. The grainy 90s vibe camera style was alot better and offered a better immersive feel of a zombie apocalypse

The place from Clear was a different one. He was in some kind of an apartment that he accidentally burned down in a flashback in Here's Not Here. It's why he left town in the first place.
I get that maybe he was crazy during the time he was seeing red after Duane died but it’s so fucking lazy to make him not remember going back to his old house and spending time there. Morgan wasn’t on any drugs and he doesn’t have dementia either so I don’t know what’s up with the memory loss? And he just conveniently finds his old rifle sitting there after all these years? No looters or anything to take it? Bullshit
Morgan doesn't remember much of what happened during the times that he went nuts, that can be best seen in 806. As far as Morgan knew while he was crazy, this neighborhood was Burned Out: he marked it that way on his map that Carl found. As for the rifle, Morgan presumably returned to the house and left it there before he left town because it was in his apartment in Clear. The town is long abandoned, stripped of basically anything useful by Morgan and Duane and partially overgrown by nature. No one's been there in a long time and they probably wouldn't think to check random houses, just the center of town where Morgan was living after he lost it. And he stripped everything out of there himself and it might've been burned down along with his apartment building.
What’s funny is in season 3 they clearly make a point of having Rick pick up this gun and look at it yet apparently it was here all along & still works perfectly too! Writers of FTWD are damn lazy and clearly couldn’t care less.
Wasn’t King County already completely been deserted in the events of S1 of TWD ? Maybe nobody came back to city/county ever again. But we have to agree that the rifle has to be there, otherwise Morgan would never mentioned Rick 😂
@@Shaolinh808 The fact that both Dwayne and Morgan’s wife are still there 8 something years later is pretty unrealistic imo, at least with the lack of decomposition. EDIT: I stand corrected. Jenny's corpse was skeletal, not in the same state she was back in walking dead season 1 as I had erroneously concluded.
Hasn't it been over 10 years in the TWD timeline since the clear episode? How is the house perfectly intact alongside all the tagging on the wall, and the gun is still there? Trash writers
The town is abandoned and overrun by small herd of walkers. We've seen other abandoned towns that were still intact and abandoned over the course of all of the shows. The only minor continuity issue is the gun: Rick found it in Morgan's apartment in Clear which is a totally different location. But Morgan clearly went back here at least once since Duane was actually chained up in the attic the whole time.
I can't help but be annoyed in almost every Morgan Scene. Dude has such boring Personality. Those loooong moments where he just stares around the Place and trying to look like as if he's thinking. And then he will just look at other People and then say nothing.
