Hopefully, it will shortly be announced that Wallen's Dangerous album will have just chalked up its 87th week as a top 10 album in all of the US, and it's 66th top 5 week. Having already broken the all-time top 10 weeks record, 66 top 5s will tie the album with Born In The USA for the 4th most weeks in chart history. Chart goes back to 1956. Three more would get him to 3rd over Adele's 21 album. Six more would get him to 2nd all-time over Thriller, and nine more would put Dangerous over the Sound of Music, which is most all-time from 1965, with 73 weeks. A long ways to make this mark, but fans can keep it going a little longer I think. These do not have to be consecutive. He can drop out and then back in. He is on a new consecutive run for top 10s as well. He got 49 straight last year; now up to 37 on a 2022 run; soon to be 38. Garth's Ropin' The Wind had the most consecutive for a country album for all-time at 50; then Dangerous at 49; then Cyrus at 43. Dangerous may end up being 2nd and 3rd most country album with the same album for two consecutive runs. It would be hard to break 50 though due to album spikes during the Christmas season versus a two-year-old non Christmas album, but go Morgan; get all you can for the record books! Put a big stamp on the cancel mob's loss as is possible.
Thanks for the info and I am always looking up stats but so many different billboard charts, Spotify, iTunes and keeping track of consecutive and non consecutive etc is exhausting so ty for this
