Just an amazing duet! I've come to realize that when it comes to the Philippines the vocals ars just legit and that good! I've seen so many raw videos of these artists Jona, Mori, Darren you name it at Birthday parties, gatherings etc no background music no mics and the vocals just soar. So you take that and put it with a good mic and audio you get some amazing stuff,!

Your question about the sound? Here's what Daryl said himself replying to a reactor: But tbh , nope we did’t use any autotune but we had to retake and “punch-in record” some parts, a couple of times, well, actually manyyyy times, especially the riffs, til we got it “clean” coz we couldn’t rely on autotune on this track because the song should sound “organic” in my personal opinion.

I've seen a lot of reaction vid with this one but so far your the best that ive been encountered. Dan your such a good person aren't you? i always following your videos here.. im a little fan of yours hahah.. anyways add some more reactions coz id like to watch it..

They are the best!

The microphone is of course a very expensive type strictly for professional use in recording studios . That kind of microphone is not the same quality you see in concerts or in karaoke sets ...Of course its quality makes it more "sensitive" and that is why you see singers to "pull back" a bit when they are going in the head voice or into some intense mix voice run with vibrato ... You need to keep your distance there and speaking of distance ... "Go the distance" by Katrina Velarde is a very good example for you to understand what i am saying about this . Also Morissette does that often in "Rise up" its a song that she shows that as well . Now about their performance here , both excellent , totally relaxed , good body language communication between them , there was some studio "chemistry" going on which means this wasn't the first time they worked together and they feel nice working together once more ! very important detail and i think it was obvious by the result . Both professionals and great at what they are doing , created "magic" Ps : The microphone only amplifies what you already have , bad or good . Morissette will sound the same with any microphone or no microphone at all , because in singing there is a whole bunch of "secrets" that make you sound better . For example if you pay close attention to the beginning when Daryl starts , you will notice one time he makes his endings short "cut" and the next he makes them longer "sustain" ...just to give a clue ... i hope i answered your questions .

Sound is obviously edited with reverb and “wrapped” for professional studio finish (you know, some low and high end removal to make the overall sound more rounded and soft), but those are definitely their voices. They are both very talented and I believe there is nothing wrong with having that professional audio enhancement as long as you are really able to deliver the notes live, which they totally can. :)
