I live in LA as well. I don't think Hollywood is hiding....unfortunately Morissette is going to have to come here and I'm not sure she wants to do that. Morissette has new management and i'm sure they will play their hand soon as too what is in store for Morissette. We now know that she is on Disney's radar.

Agree I have been following music all over the world what’s new and what not..I’m from Toronto Canada and my wife is the biggest fan of the Canadian music legend like for example Anne Murray, Celine Dion..Both my wife and I loves music her sister also love music, when ever got a chance we play guitar and sing together.. Morissette is totally ONCE in a lifetime multi talented Artist 🇨🇦

Quick note...as others have pointed out...this song is about the estrangement from her father. The "cry/wail" at the end of the song is so powerful because it is the cry of a child into the black hole of loss of a father. What Morissette does better than most is connect to the 'event' of the lyrics and has the acting chops to bring the audience into the story and together there is a shared experience.

Wonderful reaction!!! Morissette recorded her EP in the middle of Covid. Thats what great artists do....create art....in the middle of a global pandemic! It is stunning what Morissette has been able to accomplish as an Indie artist. Morissette is a generational singer and a vocal assassin! No genre is safe!!!

Ever song on the EP Signature, which she and hubby Dave Lamar wrote....have very personal connections to her.... this is a digital letter to her estranged Father, whom didn't like her choice in love and hasn't spoke to her in over 3 years.... he wouldn't even let her mom, brother attend her wedding as he wouldn't go either. Phoenix.....is about, never giving up and, rising above the hardships , Mirror, a delemia many face about, self image and feeling judged by others ,Will You Stay....more a Dave feeling as they had a long...on and off relationship, and she found the song in his book....and felt at the end....to add...JUST STAY, finally Trophy is telling those that are treated as an object to put their foot down and remind others I'm not here to fluff your ego.

Enjoy the Video it's great, this song is about the Split between her father and herself, it happed around the time of her Engagement to her now husband Dave Lamar, she was going on the stage but burst out crying, because of her father, Mori has been the bread winner since she was 15 or 16, I think her father did not want to let go, Dave started writing this song and asked Mori to write something for the song, thats where there is more emotion, from here on Mori started song writing with her husband, the ending to the Video is just a bit different.

there are also other live versions on her channel that are equal to if not better than these. Morissette is a beast. the other live versions are for 93.1 radio station performed at home. if you don't react just check them out for yourself. i personally like those the best

I agree with you. This is my favorite rendition of Love You Still, but my favorite performances of Mirror and Will You Stay are from the RX93.1 concert.

She wrote this song about her relationship to her father, who didn‘t approve of her marriage and allegedly hasn‘t spoken to her since. The song has even more depth, when you know the background and that it‘s a very personal song.

Wassuuppp That's not Acting Either! LOVE YOU STILL ' Her own song that had a strong attachment to Morissette She wrote that song dedicated to Her Family. It was because She gone a difficult times with Her Father for almost a year a misunderstanding because MORISSETTE entered into a relationship with Her now Husband Dave Lamar and Her Father was against to it. In short , because MORISSETTE fell in LOVE for the first time.

One of my fave song in her EP. This is such a personal song for her due to the background of this song. It's about her estranged relationship with her father, her family really. They haven't spoken in quite some time and they weren't even present in her wedding earlier this year. So it's so personal and so painful to sing too. But it's such a good song. The guitarist is Sergio Ramos whom Morisette works with all the time. As well as her musical directort Adonis Tabanda-he's the bass player in the Bruno Mars

This is my favorite of the 5 from this session. For her song Mirror, I recommend her lyric video or a different one but not the one from this session as the sound is kinda muffled.
