This is one of the reasons why I love Morissette. She makes me feel through her voice. I still can't get over that I finally saw her on Friday perform. It wasn't just her singing. It was how she connected with the audience, how she reached out to us, and show how much she appreciated us being with her at that moment. Its mind boggling how there are haters for this young lady who is a pure angel with a heart of gold. During the concert, she made sure she acknowledged you wherever you are seated, be it at the front or the very, very back. Most of all, through her voice, she gave you her all. So humble, so kind, so approachable, and beautifully talented Morissette! 🥰
@@OOCFM Terri is watching her in Vegas on the 9th. I did get a pic with her while she was singing Akin Ka Na Lang. I have mixed feelings about the venues where she is singing. Part of me is shocked how humble these places are - Cache Creek is literally out in the boonies! The room was kind of a stand up comedy club setting too simple for a singer with her caliber. The seats were temporary dining chairs pushed against each other with printed sticker seat # labels. It wasn't even a fully enclosed room. The fourth "wall" was a sliding velvet curtain that served as a divider from the casino floor. I see the coliseums where she performs in Philippines on RU-vid and in awe that she's at these very humble small venues in America. At the same time, I feel privileged to see her in these intimate places because I can be like 6 feet away and its a much more personal experience. She is deserving of so much bigger venues, but I'm just grateful and in disbelief I was able to be in her presence at such close range because someday I know it will not be that easy anymore. I placed my hand on her left hip and pressed my head against hers for my selfie as she sang. Incredible! Any other American superstar would have had their security tackle me on the floor if I could even get that close!
@@OOCFM As I've mentioned in another post, there were these ladies next to me who had no clue who Morissette was. They were there for Christian Bautista (I didn't know who he was since I was there for Morissette-lol!). I had to pull out my phone and update them on who Morissette was on RU-vid before the show began. By the end of the night, the lady says to me, "Oh yeah, she's GOOD!" 🤣 Mori is so small btw! Her face so beautiful and mesmerizing. I love how she acts silly and jokes around. Not an ounce of ma-arte whatsoever. Her bubbly personality is infectious! 🥰
I would rate this performance right up there with the semi final performance of Glennis Grace on AGT last year as the greatest version of this song performed so far. Glennis' version was seriously "turbo charged", but the one from Morissette..... Damnnn..... Your reaction was beautiful and so was that letter from that fan. Seriously, her voice is amazing and more than her voice, it's the way she makes you feel every word she's saying. There are singers out there who have talent, skill, but not many of them can touch me deeply the way Mori does. She's just incredible.
