I learned from the reaction of the musical director and guitarist of 3rd ave band in this performance...Mr. Adonis Tabanda... that this was 1 take only after sound checks because there were lots of performers that time and the schedule was tight. What a talent we got from our girl... Mori.

Nothing replaces the original from Lou Gramm and Foreigner but this is exceptional! Imagine how much more amazing this version would be with a Black church choir backing Mori like in the original version. Oh no, what happened to the other intro song?!?! 😢 that one was bumpin' and then some. It always sounded so good in my earphones. And awesome that you noticed how she had to find the note first before got the mic on the whistle. She was flawless as always, but the pianist hit a couple of odd notes and the background vocals were a little oops. But Mori still did her thing.
