This was the first song I listened to by Mori, I was laying in bed, it was around 11 o'clock at night, I had just listened to the original singer Loren Allred, I thought not bad, then I listened to Katrina Velarda singing a Disney song and I thought wow, and then came Morissette Amon singing NEVER ENOUGH from the film the greatest Showman, and her tone took my breath away, and I was hooked, I fell in love with her voice and her smile, those beautiful eyes, before you say anything, they are contact lenses because as she says she's as blind as a bat, I listened from 11 until 5 in the morning and everyday after for the last five and half years, at least one hour per day, 5 or more songs, Mori has a octive range of 5.4 some say 5.7, with that range and control, she can sing anything under the sun and does, from Worship to Rap and everything in between, she is a believer and supports her local Church with her husband Dave Lamar who is a singer song writer producer and videotogragher and many other thing's connected in the music industry, Mori started writing her own songs at the end of 2019 and start of the pandemic, they married on the 28th of June 2021, there is a wedding video from TREEHOUSE STORY with songs from Dave and Mori, Dave encouraged Mori to start writing and what has been written is fantastic, go Morissette Amon EP Signature live Band singing PHOENIX, MIRROR, TROPHY, LOVE YOU STILL a very personal song about the problem between her father and herself, happy to say that after four years Mori and her father have reconciled, and song number 5 WILL YOU STAY my favorit on the EP, I have to say no singer has ever made me cry like Mori, I was close, but Mori's love of singing, you hear that in every word and you feel the emotion she is feeling, Mori is something special, before I go here are somethings to watch, Morissette at the Asian Song Festival 2017 and 2018, as far as I know she is the only singer that has done the show twice, and they love Mori in south Korea, next year Mori is going on a world tour called EMBER so watch out for concert dates, there will definitely dates in the USA, I'm hoping for Europe, I missed her concert this year in Frankfurt Germany with Darren espanto, they are going to Spain in November lucky people, anyway that should keep you going for a few weeks, and yes she is bringing a new Album out in the new year, enjoy your journey down the rabbit hole, fly with Morissette Airlines to heaven and back. 😊

If I would request a good suggestion I would like to suggest: -Love You Still MV (she wrote this song for her estranged father) -Will You Stay Visualizer/Live Performance in her own channel (her most gorgeous song in my opinion maybe because I love late night jam, rnb jazz, vocal layers and harmonies) -Mirror Visualizer/Lyric Video (her best song lyrically in my opinion. Self empowerment song and very relatable, sounds pop-hiphop) -Phoenix MV (very light and empowering. She showcases her vocals here) -Trophy -definitely NOT the music video bcs it's so bad lol. Visualizer/Lyric video is better (the first Filipino diss track I've ever heard. She wrote this song for her haters and toxic fans lol, Very upbeat, sounds very western to me)
There are differing opinions about whether the live versions or the RX 93.1 versions or even the Wish Bus versions are the best. One can see how she NEVER sings a song the same way. Trophy MV can be funny if one sees it as a sarcastic low-budget twin of BINI's Born to Win MV. "Stop it, I am not an alien, a goddess or whatever you think I am," with about as many outfit and scenery changes - and an ending that is totally crazy. Her newest original Wishing Well is somehow getting little attention even as it is a great song.
