Mormons vs. Christians: What's the Difference?

I like your post it is encouraging.

There is a benchmark and its quite important. Jesus + nothing vs. Jesus + works. Biblical Christianity is Jesus + nothing. If you have to do things like, get married in the church or not do this or do that so you can be right with God or go to a certain level of heaven, then its Jesus + works and is not Biblical Christianity. While there are many denominations within Biblical Christianity, if the church in question doesnt believe in salvation (salvation=free gift to all who accept it, is provided be the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His merit ALONE, not of our own worthiness, and refers to salvation from the wrath of God and the right to live eternally with him) by grace through faith alone, then its not Biblical Christianity. If the teachings of that church deviates from that, then its not really Biblical Christianity but more of a Christian inspired cult. There arent different kinds of salvation for different type of people. No becoming god for keeping all the commandments of the religion. Thats not Biblical Christianity. What would you think about your current rationale if God told you that the Church of Jesus Christ LDS is his Church? Would you tell God that he is wrong? Would you tell him that he isn't God, but is Satan. Would you know the difference? How do you know that your interpretation of the Bible is correct? What if you are wrong? Do you believe that God is real? Do you think it is unreasonable for a fourteen year old boy to want to be saved? Do you think it is unreasonable for that boy to be confused and not know which Church to join? Do you think it is unreasonable for that boy to ask God which Church to join? Do you think it is unreasonable for God to hear and answer that boys prayer? Considering the multitude of mens differing interpretations of scripture. Do you think it is unreasonable for God to tell that boy to join none of them? Do you think it would be unreasonable for God to tell that boy that they teach the doctrines of men, and that they draw near to him with their lips, but their hearts are far from him? Do you think it is unreasonable that God would call that boy to be his prophet, and his means to restore his true gospel and authority? Do you think it unreasonable that God should do his own will, contrary to the wills and purposes of men, for the cause of mankind's salvation?
