@@parsmad mossy missed a conversion under the posts in a RWC match when the ball fell off the tee. As much as I love him, that cardinal sin of kicking disqualifies him as the best kicker.

@@parsmad I recall a while back that someone looked at all the international 10s, and considered not only their kick success %, but also looked at where they kicked from (because someone could conceivably refuse to kick difficult kicks and then end up with a high kicking %), and on those criteria Steyn was the best by some margin.

One of his best games had to be the 2009 Tri-nations where he scored all 31 points for the Boks against NZ

He is most definitely my favourite fly half and he to is the reason why I became a HUGE Bulls fan. In my opinion and the way I see it his skills is somehow equal to Daniel Carter also: Try scoring, Most accurate goal kicking, field kicks and drop goals. Who else agrees?

People think of Morries just as a kicker..but he was a great player in so many aspects of the game...Legend..Thanks Morne..you gave me some of my best rugby memories...
