The first video I saw was one that included a table with ‘The Ox-Bow Incident’, is a 1940 western novel by Walter Van Tilburg Clark showing. I knew then I would like to see and hear more. ☮

This might be beside the point, the first one I remember was the second or third video I watched, it was the busker who met John Prine video (about 3-ish months ago). I listened because an old NYC neighbor sent me some John Prine covers he worked on---they are good, but I forget whose name is on them---and I thought he'd enjoy it. When I sent it to him, he told me he'd just watched it. The first one I watched escapes my memory, but it wasn’t too long before I saw the one on John Prine. I got interested because of your manner, your voice, your guests, and your subject matter in general (I'm mostly interested in the blues, but singer-songwriters and country music are interesting to me too; I could probably listen to you talk about anything that interested you; I've mentioned your program to several people, saying, "What if someone did something like this with the blues?"). Since then, I've watched several dozen episodes. Great stuff! It's always an interesting listen.

Huh, hah ... That's funny you asked. Not the first video, but when I first consistently started tuning on in to this channel was during the pandemic & you asked viewers to send you postcards. I did as much & you sent me one on back. ... Coincidentally, I stumbled across that postcard just the other day. ... I keep it in the top drawer of my dresser with other random keepsakes & went fishing in there for something else. Anyways, it gave me a smile. ... Can remember picking out the ones I had sent. We live in Hyannis MA & went to Provincetown the day after your postcard request vid, and my daughter & I picked out the ones I sent to you guys. ... Also, she loved it when you displayed & read the postcards the next Saturday. ... LoL, she had both hands high like she scored a goal in soccer when I played it for her (she's 9 now). Great times. .... Believe the first video was texted to me from a long time buddy of mine who lives in a different state. ... Guessing it was Dylan related because I'm a huge fan, but I don't know for sure. Alrighty then,... I've rambled on long enough. Thanks as always & best wishes to you and yours Mr. Otis 🤠
