I broke my tablet today and I thought it was the end of the world but when I saw this video it inspired me and I thought to my self I am so dumb there are people that are physically injured and have to live like this for the rest of their life and my tablet can be repared but some type of things like this can't this REALLY INSPIRED me a lot. I was born without my left hand and one foot was amputated and my other leg at the knee living is hard I have 2 boys and watching you is just great just seeing people get through it makes me very happy stay amazing
I was born with one hand. And people gonna think i am rude BUT seeing people like me makes me feel better. i feel like i am not the only one. and remember we do not need your sadness or sympathy!
After I watch one of these I go hug my mum and dad and I tell them how grateful I am to have everything. At first they thought I was joking then I showed them this video and they understood why I was being grateful. I'm not trying to brag that I have everything. Hi. I have a right BKA. But it hasn't stop me from proudly wearing my prosthetic daily from 6am to 12am 7 days a week, and giving love and care to my elderly mother. I think it's beautiful that you have a cat, your a very strong person to be able to cope with that and live it, you should be really proud, just because your u don't have two legs like most other people, that does not make you any different to the person you would be with two legs, it's really good being so young that you are so strong, you should always try and be strong and you will be a happier person, you don't let things Like that get you down you learn to live the life and love the person that you are:) you are beautiful and always will be, a limb will never change that:)

Eloise Awesomeballs Honestly? Thats a very toxic way to feel. Just because someone else is in a worse position than you are doesn't mean you can't feel negatively about your situation. Thats like saying "I can't be Happy because other people are happier for better reasons". You're allowed to feel wat you feel no matter how trivial you may think it is.

I was really impressed by the way she just went on about her day and doesn’t get frustrated or mad having to make all those trips back and forth to the kitchen while preparing her bfast. And then I caught myself thinking if that were me, I’d be trying to Macgyver something over that stub so I can work with both hands to make things easier. I'm a writer and one of my characters is an amputee. Little things like this video (just simple stuff like morning routines) are SUPER helpful in making sure that I can portray this character as naturally and accurately as possible. So thank you for posting a video like this.
i lost my left leg in a work accident 2 month ago, those chores are tuff, i use cruches to get around and was fitted 2 weeks ago, stay strong girl! i use to fly commercial and am working on getting a waiver to fly again, never let this hold you back, sky is the limit, literally!
So I have a question. Is it that the prosthesis is uncomfortable to wear ? Is easier for you to just use the crutches, and that you feel that your leg needs a break from it ?
Sometimes it just bothers to wear it if I really want to get comfortable. It's kind of like with women and bras. We wear it because it's "necessary" and we don't mind or even notice it when we have it on but when we get rid of it at the end of the day it's just the best feeling in the world. It's just more comfy.
Even if it's not uncomfortable, I can't imagine having a chunk of plastic stuck to your leg could ever be quite as comfortable as not having it, LOL. I love the analogies because it's true - I would never wear a bra or shoes at home!
I am glad to see this on Friday the 20th of Sept 2019 i will become an above the knee amputee due to screw ups getting knee replacement I have fought and tried it all now this hopefully give me relief so glad to have seen this you are a brave girl

Pnina Ullrich my cousin lost his whole hand in a blow dozer accident for construction I support disability I use to work with disability children and adults on horse back for their therapy sessions I’m not meaning to be rude or pride but I don’t see a video of you telling how you lost your leg 100% support hang in there

I see your video and i have the same routine, only sometimes i stay in bed longer cuz of the frustration. I used to dream i would wake up with my leg attached back to my body, then i would see its not there. Thanks for letting me know im not the only one, we just keep hanging in. Thanks for the video.
