Your boy is so adorable! Gives me baby fever lol but I have 5 and I'm done. My oldest is 18 already, it goes by so fast! Enjoy the baby stage, sometimes wish my teens were babies again, teen years are hard.

I’m an RN LC. Be careful with frequently pumping and bottlefeeding as it can negatively impact your supply over time. The best pump cannot stimulate you as well as the baby can, and that’s what mostly maintains supply. Also, missing feedings/pumpings, as in the middle of the night, will drop supply. My best recommendation is to nurse the baby whenever you possibly can and only pump/bottle feed when you have to be away from him. If you’re going to return to work and pump at work, be sure to always nurse when you are with the baby once you get home. I think you’re a great mom doing a great job, but wasn’t sure if you knew this, and don’t want you to run into problems on down the line. Oliver is an adorable baby and I am so happy for you. Congratulations!!💙🎉🎊

Oliver is soooooo cute! And I totally relate to you not wanting him hot. Both my girls ran hot as newborns, and I always only put them in a short sleeve onsie at night or a long sleeve one when I no longer swaddled

The only suggestion I can make is instead of you having to change him into a onesie maybe try those sleep gowns. That way his legs can come out and maybe cool him off if you really feel like he’s to warm. They are also great for when he needs a diaper change.

Aww Precious moments ! Having a new born is pretty much just being in survival mode lol it goes by so fast though. My 3 boys are grown now . Us moms never stop worrying and caring for our babies even when they become adults. Thank you for sharing this time with us. ❤️❤️
