Hey what's up guys did a little bit of morning sight fishing for some Reds and I was able to find some good fish, hope you enjoy like/Subscribe thanks!
Got my 1st Spec trout on Flyrod your gonna love getting a Red on a flyrod even a smaller one say 16-18 inches feels crazy cool . Caught my Spec on a 5wt reel
i just learned something watching this video, i always get frustrated when i spook one in my kayak and see they left a big mud boil and assume thy all spooked but i see a bunch of the fish you caught were right next to the fish that spooked. next time i have one make a mud boil on me like that im gonna slow down and see which others may still be around. also i just posted my fist video of me casting at a school of reds. it starts off similar to this with to missed hook up but ended with a big fish.
Funny, I searched "Fly fishing redfish texas" and a fb friend's video pops up first. Nice vid, keep it up! You need to come fish San Marcos or the Guadalupe this winter.
Great visual. What about leader, Tippet, and fly patterns?Hook size? Colors too? I'm heading to TX this fall, and need a little info to be better prepared. Thx.
Great trip! Thank you for sharing, really enjoyed your expedition, you got in to them big time! Question: what brand/model yak/SUP are you using? I'd really like to look at one! Thank you. ~Zano
Just found this channel... great stuff man. Mind if I ask about that push pole? I picked up a Blue Sky to pole around with in the marsh and am going to be in the market for one here soon.
You have to find areas that have no boat traffic or areas that aren’t really disturbed with low water and there’s a good chance you’ll find some crawling/tailing reds but it’s not always guaranteed.
