Either ! The 701 needs a screen for long distance but the AJP comes as standard. I just prefer the extra grunt in the 701. I think the long range 701 enduro would be a perfect off-road world eater.
Both bikes are the same each time we filled up, the PR7 does have a bigger tank so we where going on my 701 fuel range which is around 120mile max. I’d say the PR7 would be good for around 170mile.
Thanks, we looked at local routes through people we know. Pretty much made it up as we went along. We Sat down each night deciding which way to head for the next day. The good thing with Morocco is you can pretty much ride anywhere. I’m in Newport South Wales if you fancy having what we did from my sat nav. Cheers Rich
Thank you for nice video! They are deciding between ajp pr7 and hus 701, please for advice which seems better to you, I plan to ride offroud around the house, and twice a year a longer journey of 4000 km Albania, Morocco, Romania. Thank you in advance for your reply. Stanislav.
Standa Burda Hi thanks for the comments. It would be a hard choice if I had to decide between the two. Both very good bikes so you will not go wrong which ever you choose. I’m now on the KTM 790 adventure R. Now that comes highly recommend ! Hopefully il be taking it to Morocco the Christmas
@@xflatnose Nice vid Richard. How do you find the 790 off-road compared to these 2? Presumably the extra weight makes it more of a handful in the tricky stuff?
@@andrewadams7628 Yes exactly that, but the comfort out ways the extra weight. For doing a trip such as Morocco where you have to munch lots of miles each day the 790 will be excellent. The 701 and the AJP are both awesome bikes but I’m loving the comfort,smoothness an extra power of the 790. You want go wrong with which ever mind !
