great video. do you have any problem finding fuel while you were out there? It seemd like desert terrain formed a large portion of your trip. do the bike in the video have good tank ranges? cheers
XT660Z - Ténéré. Excellent choice. In Brazil only in 2012. Autonomy of 450 km, single, double disc front ... etc ... etc ... And the partner of adventure? Some 12 years older. XF650 Freewind! The development took more than 10 years to get close ... But it's coming! Thank goodness!
What do you make of the tenere? I would love to buy the 660 and get myself around the world but the more I read and hear people say because it's a single it's really "vibey" they say ... Though being 6'4" it's perfect being a bigger bike and getting 60mpg!! Little reassurance would go a long way :D
Cheers :) ... I've got an xt125R to get my no claims back up but after having an sv650s nearly 4 years ago it's just a drain on all the fun! I'll check out where I can test ride one ... thanks again!
For a single cylinder bike, it's one of the least 'vibey' ones you can buy, it's only vibrating when you push it past 120 km/h, which it's not made for. It has bar ends weights of 480 grams that realy work well. Go testride one, you either like it or not.
