The Northumberland Coast Loop is an intended long distance connection through Northumberland that would use the ECML between Berwick Upon Tweed to Pegswood, then at the Morpeth North Junction would head towards Bedlington, picking up the Northumberland Line at Bedlington and continue towards Newcastle Upon Tyne.
