The final look was super pretty. Every time I use the reds in the palette I get heavy handed and the red gets intense. I like how soft it blended with your overall scheme. I’m inspired
Oh great ! I was drinking my coffee thinking about : "what I am gonna use today ?!" The Jaclyn Hill palette is so amazing, we can do everything with it ! Cold, warm, colourful, neutral, matte, shimmering looks. So beautiful !
So glad you are back! Best money saving tips I have are delete all your email subscriptions right now!!! They give our way too tempting coupons every day....And yes that includes amazon. When you really need something find a coupon on retailmenot. Also I make lists and tell myself I can buy in two weeks (like a make up brush or something) if I still want it in two weeks I let myself get it but most times I forget about it! Hope this helps you as much as it helps me!

My eyeshadow is the exact same way I have to clean it up. We have the same eye shape. That's why I love your eyeshadow tutorials. I still follow your naked palettes tutorials. I wish you'd do an eyeliner tutorial that's one thing I can't get down. I can on on one eye but not the other
Aside from the Born to Run palette I'm trying not to buy any new ones either so if you could make us some using any of the Urban Decay Vice palettes or some of the old Too Faced chocolate or chocolate related palettes that would be awesome. I've missed your tutorials so much because you make it rasy for us beginners and you're one of the only makeup artists on here that doesn't use lots of black eyeliner or winged liner - but besides this Jaclyn Hill palette and the two faced chocolate palette I can't think of any of the other pallets that you have that I have - if you don't have the Urban Decay Vice palette smaby you have the Morphe 35B, Morphe 35C, or the Morphe 35S?
Loved it! I'm also trying to save money, so I'm not buying any new makeup. I only repurchase foundation, concealer and mascara if I run out, and definitely no more lipsticks or eyeshadow palettes!

Yeah, I’m in a low buy phase. I finally figured out what really works for me and have pretty much what I need (and much more!!). I still love just buying makeup so I get some stuff, but not much. What I try to do when I’m drawn to something new is to check out what I already have to get similar looks.

I'm planning on buy the small palettes; I can't help it! It's interesting I never get flash back from the Laura Mercier powder, but watch for the Nars loose translucent powder I always get flashback from that one
The most important first step to saving money is knowing what you have and where it goes. Most people have no actual clue. EVERYTHING. Dont forget long term occasional expenses... like insurance, taxes, auto maintenance, medical expenses, etc. You have to plan for these things or else you will get hit with the expense anyway and be in trouble or have to use your savings. When you get that done you can start cutting expenses, or increasing income until you have more than you spend. First set aside a nest egg... Enough to support yourself for at least a month, preferably two. Then start saving for whatever your goal is.
I’m also on a no buy/ sort of low but phase now. I only buy makeup to replenish on something like mascara. I just have waaaaay too much and it’s not making me feel better trying to run after ever mediocre product that people rave about. Every new launch has its phase and then people forget about it until a new launch happens. That’s what i keep trying to remind myself.
Too weird. I just looked for your channel 2 days ago and noticed I hadn't seen you bc you hadn't uploaded in almost a year....then today I get a notification that you uploaded! I just feel like what are the odds that I randomly thought about you after 11 months and checked to see if you still upload, and there was nothing...then today here we are?!
