Holy hell this girl can't catch a break. She gets hate all over twitter for not posting more tutorials using her pallet that many of her fans purchased and then people on here saying all she ever posts about is her pallete. Yea no derrrrpppp. Many of us want tutorials on using the pallete from the maker of the palette.

Jaclyn, it would be very helpful if you could do more tutorials with different eye techniques like a halo eye, intense cut creases, ombré winged liners, double winged liner, etc. it's starting to feel like we get the same eye look with different colors every time. I’ve just started watching Jaclyn and I just live her tutorials like this a lot of beauty gurus will say things like ‘now I will use this color’ or ‘now I’m going to use this’ but Jaclyn actually is really helpful and gives tips and really walks us through everything love you Jaclyn ❤️

Jaclyn, I don't know if you'll ever see this but if you do, there has been something I've wanted to say since the day I started watching you really, which was years and years ago. But I wanted to let you know and thank you for everything you've done for me. First of all you've taught me EVERYTHING I know about makeup since the beginning, I never use to wear makeup really, just mascara. But years ago I watched one of your tutorials and fell in love with u and the tutorials themselves. You literally showed me every little detail to makeup and how to do it the correct way and just everything! You are the reason why I got into makeup and it's now been a passion of mine for a while, which is the strange part because I'm very much a tomboy in most everything I do. But I draw and love art and I looked at makeup for the art and self expression it really is, and you showed me that. I also wanted to thank you for your amazing personality. I suffer bad anxiety and depression and I was in a dark place and then I found you and found a passion that really helped me cope with it. Not to mention you opening up about your anxiety and depression, and other things that you had dealt with. Even when you know you don't have too, you do open up about it! Because that's just the amazing person you are, you are always trying to help your viewers who may be struggling with that stuff. You let them know their not alone, supported us, and showed us a way to keep fighting and to always have hope and that you can't control everything that comes you're way but you can control the way you handle it. You did that. And you really did help me with it in a way. And you still inspire me all the time. With how far you have come and grown. It's incredible, and I think about that all the time. I've grown into makeup so much and I watch tons of other RU-vidrs now too, but I always remember where I started.. and that was with you. I just wanted to thank you for that, because it's now a passion I will hopefully take with me into the future. Stay the amazing and beautiful person you are. This kind of video is what I've been missing so bad! Not just from Jaclyn though. I feel like actual tutorials have disappeared and now make up videos are more like "here's a video of a new look that you'll have to pause every 2 seconds and rewind a million times to be able to duplicate it." In this video, Jaclyn actually explained some of the stuff she does and why she does it. It may seem like the most basic stuff but it's so important. I want to actually learn the techniques so I can experiment with crazy looks and colors on my own. So this was great! *thumbs up a million times*

Jaclyn, I believe that constructive criticism should come from a positive perspective, and I just wanted to take the time to tell you what I love about your videos, because I feel that the majority of critics solely point your flaws out, but sometimes what makes us grow is when people point out what we're doing right, it makes us wanna do more of that(: I love when you talk makeup to us, I love the videos you make that transport me out of my stress and worry and drama surrounding, and how they bring me into your small yet helpful moment of a good old fashioned tutorial or monthly review. I think more than being such a talented and experienced makeup artist as I consider you to be, what I've always admired about you is that I know you posees an incredible strength and ability to let negativity do its own thing, but you've proved many times you're above it by not bothering to address it. I'm your age, and at times I've been put down by others, and I've looked to you to see how you handle it, I like when you talk to us as a friend, as someone relatable, and when you have something positive to say and give us a tutorial, it shows me you want me to feel beautiful like you do. Many makeup artists are selfish but you share your tips with us and inspired me to now be in the industry in the same field. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, because this is coming from a place of love for you and a place of nostalgia because you are one of the first youtubers I ever watched where my love of makeup began. But it upsets me that you have such an amazing life, a beautiful house, gorgeous clothes and makeup, and you cannot find any time to make videos for the people who helped and watched your story evolve into such a success. You barely upload anymore, and if that isn't what you want to do anymore that is your own decision but it's very upsetting to see that you do not post anymore. We want you to be successful, we want you to live your best life, but it feels like there is not much effort being put into this channel. Of course, with the hurricane, that is forgiven, obviously but this has been going on for months now. I love you, sincerely, and hope you do not take this in a mean or slanderous way.

I have this palette and have been dying to see you use the more fun different shades. This is like the 2nd or third time you've used it and it's been restocked 3 times already and all we've seen is brown/bronzy/red/warm Smokey eye looks. I agree with all opinions about making more than a couple videos. I used to watch you every time and a learn a lot from you. But you should do more videos, more first impressions, more drugstore makeup, more reviews. You can not just go once in a while when it is convenient for you. I know the times are changing, there is a lot of drama and hate, but most of us don't care about that. We are here because we love MAKEUP. And I rarely post a comments, but you are the first youtuber I subscribe to, and I like you a lot, even there is so drama about you, I don't mind that, that is result of your popularity. Can you please do more looks without lashes? I know a lot of us girls don't wear lashes, and they really have a big empact on the finished look of a tutorial. I would also love to see some more school/work/office appropriate makeup tutorials from you!
